They are a bit stiff but that actually keeps them from coming untied all the time. They seem pretty much indestructible. As a bonus they have reflective thread in them that lets my wife see me (or my feet at least) from a mile or so away.

Not unbreakable but maybe i misunderstood what that meant
I thought it said they can't be cut through and I assumed that it means that a dog can't chew threw them either. That's the reason I bought such expensive shoelaces, so I don't have to hide my shoes. But day 1 he chewed them in a few places. Granted not all the way but they're hanging on the outer thread.Also, they're stiff. I don't mind that, just pointing it out. Other than that - I like them. Look nice, seem to be good quality but def not $20 worth. Follow up 3/15/18 laces did not last. One already cut in half the outer cover of the lace from the eyelet on my boots. They seem like they don't like to stayed tied either because they are too stiff.
