Confusing description regarding size of cases online has me confused and wasting my time

I ordered the blue camkix case in "large" and felt it wasn't quit big enough to hold everything I needed it to for an upcoming trip so I went online and found the extra large case on black with some great extra features such as better handle, carrying strap, and the extra insert and immediately ordered it. It arrives and its smaller than the large blue case I ordered!!! Upon further inspection I see both are actually labeled size XL, but the black one is is thicker but too short for selfie stick I planned to pack. Get the sizing straight, this is super confusing trying to figure out what to order! I do love the blue color, it great, I just wish it had that insert and the carrying strap. Otherwise these both look like good products, I'm simply frustrated trying to figure out the sizes and was doing this at work without a tape measure handy based on pictures and terminology and its too late before my trip to get what I need.

Perfect Case for 4 GoPro’s

I’ve been looking for a slim case to carry my 4 GoPro’s around, looking at all the major brands and came across this on Amazon. I love that you can fully customize the case to your needs.
I was able to fit a Hero 6, Hero 5, Hero 5 and Hero 4, the dual battery charger for the Hero 4, dual batter charger for Hero 5/6, 8 extra batteries, two usb plug adapters (to charge batteries), the extended battery case for Hero 4 and two extra memory card cases. I still even have a little room left!
I did play “Tetris” with the design for an hour or so, trying to work it out to maximize the space and ensure solid protection around the cameras. I used a thin sharp knife to cut the pieces out, as you have to be careful to not tear adjacent pieces out.
It’s also nice that you can buy additional foam pieces to create other custom molds, so I could technically use the case for other things when not transporting my GoPro’s.
Overall, great case for the price, love the custom functionality, I wish the case was 1/4 or 1/2 inch thinner (it would still fit the GoPro’s).

I am happy with this purchase and it is almost exactly what i need, but could use some minor enhancements.

I wish there was more depth for an extra hand grip and i wish the shells were deeper.

I fit one hand grip and an extension but cant fit a second hand grip. This can be solved by more depth or deeper shells.

I also suggest deeper shells because the pockets that are currently there are not meant for larger objects and can make it difficult to close. I would prefer two zipper pockets.

The foam is easy to remove. Definitely follow the directions and plan out where you want to put things BEFORE you start ripping foam out.

Overall, I am pleased, not ecstatic, but would recommend.

This case in very shallow so unless you are storing the USB cable in the mesh the case won't close with anything in there. So forget about using it. Also means that anything more than an 1-1.5 inches will not fit. Something like the chesty mount is real tight and takes up a quarter of the case. It seems very well made and good for traveling, but configuring it is a real pain. Will probably find another use for it.

I really like this case. I love the fact that is customizable. It holds everything that I need it to for a quick excursion. Obviously, this is not going to hold ALL your accessories, but you can pop the things you use the most in it and you're good to go. It's well made and very nice looking. I wish it was a little bit deeper because if you put much of anything in the pockets in the lid, it doesn't close well. But the pockets are fine for small, thin-ish things, like GoPro booklets, a spare battery or two, GoPro cable. Stuff like that. Aside from wishing it was a little deeper to accommodate things that are a little bigger, or odd shaped, like mounts, I am very happy with this case.

- sturdy case, but not obnoxious or overboard like those hard plastic ones
- easy to pull out foam pieces to fit what you want, suggest leaving two rows of foam between items though
- sent my kid to camp and I know he will find it easy to figure out what is possibly missing just by looking at the empty spots in the case, a great visual reminder to pack it all up or go looking for the missing item before he leaves camp!

It does take some time to remove the small squares, but in the long run, it's worth the effort. I can fit all of my accessories in this case, including our compact selfie stick, which fits snugly in the mesh pocket. The outside is super durable and kept everything clean and dry, even at the beach. Highly recommended to protect your expensive go pro investment!

This is great and fun. Protected from falls if that happens. everything in one place. I bought a bigger one then I need because I know I will be adding more accesses to my Sony tx200 Camera. You cut to make everything fit tight. Lay it out first make your mark. I cut it small at first then cut it as need. very spongy foam. This will last for many years. I started inside my opening, this works best for me! I hope you Have Just, as much fun as I did making everything fit.

Pictures don't do it justice. Absolutely the highest quality you can imagine or want. Protects, feels solid and looks the part. Quality zip. Only thing that's a tiny bit less than 5 star is the handles which are perfectly strong and adequate, but perhaps look a little cheap. However, another very high quality case I have from another brand has the same handles. So this is nitpicking because there is nothing but brilliant things to say about this case. I bought two (one from the other brand) because I thought the pick 'n' pluck thing would be a hassle and lead to a flimsy and rough finish. Completely the opposite. Made from nicely dense foam with perfect 'laser cut pixels' to remove, its is so easy to customise. I would never get anything but this magic foam again. Forget pre-made foam. Its takes 30 minutes to think and plan it and piece of cake to execute, even for the clumsiest of fingers. I ordered a spare bit of foam (£6.95) and when this arrives, I will be using this in the other pre-cut case. And I will buy a third to complete my set. I use GoPro for scuba diving and have all the lights in one case, cameras in another and chargers/batteries will go in the third. Brilliant. Only feedback - more colours please so we can easily tell cases apart.
