I'm already a big fan of Nick's blog/podcast at Side Hustle Nation - such a great concept! I was that guy for a long time working at a 9-5 and desperately wanting to get out. One day, I was finally able to but man I wish Nick and this book had been around back then. It would have saved so much time!
And that's really the big benefit to this book - save time, save money, spare yourself from frustration from trying out new tools that don't work well, and so forth. Nick has all of the tools broken down by topic such as CRM tools to Marketing Resources to Productivity Tools to Social Media Resources and everything in between. I really like how at the beginning of the book he listed out the Top 22 tools for the everyday online entrepreneur. A lot of the tools I knew about and use but there were quite a few of them that I didn't know about and now use.
Overall, for the price, Nick provides a ridiculous amount of value. It doesn't matter if you're just getting starting online with your own business or if you're a seasoned pro, there will be stuff in this book that will make your $3 well worth it! Looking forward to more from Nick.

I distinctly remember several instances where a simple sentence, a guided push toward a specific site, or a hint of a helpful tool has changed the way I do business. I'm talking about a 325% increase in revenue for 2013 almost solely by changing a few processes and some of the tools I was using.
I would gladly pay a few bucks, and an hour or so, for the *possibility* of finding another leverage point in the form of a better way to get stuff done.
I expected this book to be a great collection of resources that have helped other wildly successful people do what they do. I was *trying* to jam through the book quickly (old habits die hard!) but there were quite a few resources I was compelled to check out... but in this case being slowed down was a good thing. Safe to say, my expectations were exceeded.
This book is more of a resource library that I now keep on my phone for those times when I KNOW there's a better way to do something I've been banging my head over the keyboard about. Thank you for helping me work smarter, Nick!
