Really happy with the product that I have already bought more. I wrapped my chevy silverado because the oxidation of the sun was was messing up my paint. So i wrapped the hood and the top. And was really happy with how it turned out. First time doing wrap and it's not the easiest thing to do so i would recommend someone to help you.The top wasn't too hard to do but The hood was really hard with all The curves I had to use a heat gun for that so just a heads up. But using the heat gun you can only keep it there for a second otherwise you can melt the wrap if you hold it there to long. First I washed the car real good. Then I put rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle and sprayed on the area I was doing and wiped away with a towel this gave me a really clean surface. I found the easiest way to do it was to lay the sheet down on the truck with the backing still on then use magnets to hold down on side they sell a kit on amazon that helped alot that comes with some. Then I would have someone hold one end and peel off the backing for only half the sheet that your using. Using the vinyl cutter to cut the backing then I started in the middle and worked my way out to get all the bubbles out you have to do a little at a time and try and not get creases which might happen no matter what you do but if it happens you can lift the sheet to where the crease is and not on the car I used my hand to hold it up for a second while I heated it with the heat gun and it will take the crease away. Just don't heat it to long as soon as you see the crease come out move the heat away. I hope these tips help. And keep in mind it did take a couple hours to complete each one.

So I bought it because it rated pretty good on Amazon. I was going to do the hood, roof, and trunk of my subcompact 2015 car; since carbon fiber body mods are not yet available. I went ahead and did the gas door with the small scraps I had and "look at all the bubbles". I used my heat gun, felt tool, all the right stuff, it just wouldn't release the bubbles. I figure with a little time in the spring/summer heat, they'll just go away. I tried to do my hood...epic fail!!! Heating, stretching, heating, stretching, working the bubbles...and then it tears. Can't repair that. So I threw that strip out. What a waste.

Lessons learned: having someone to help would be a plus; buying better quality material might be better.

I do love how realistic it looks. I did keep it on my gas tank door and did my front and rear Chevy bow ties with zero issues, so I'll keep those on for now.

Good quality vinyl. I purchased this to do a gaming desk. Very happy with the results. My only gripe is that the package was completely ripped in two when I received it. The outer layer of vinyl was scratched and very dirty.

Not crazy about the finish, but it does the job and remained tacky even after I botched up the install several times. It also returned to shape pretty well. I prefer the non glossy type I've purchased before that was not as stiff, but this did the job and actually loocks pretty good when completed.
The amount I purchased was enough for two hoods.
