I give it five stars because the violin itself is absolutely amazing. I didn't know that when I bought it but it is actually listed as professional or advanced on european websites and it really is of that quality -at least for me. HOWEVER, for some reason that completely escapes me, the bow is synthetic... I mean really?! with that quality instrument it feels a little mismatched. And the rosin literally fell apart, I used it once and by the second rub I just got a bunch of pieces falling off on me, the third time it broke in three. I still give it a five stars because my interest was in the violin and I wouldn't change anything to the instrument. The pegs fit super nicely, very easy to tune, the ebony parts are flawless, it is quite light for an electric, and it produces a beautiful sound. So I am very pleased with the instrument, I just thought that out of respect for their customers it would have been nice if they had paid attention to details and had provided, at least, an equally good quality bow. I'm not even asking for decent headphones or non-crappy rosin, but a real hair bow is the minimum. No need to say that it is an excellent price/quality rapport.

Only problem is the audio jack, other than that it's a beauty

Ok. So I'm no pro...but this thing is sweet! I have played since I was 8 years old. I'm 40. Still playing the same student violin since then. I wanted to try electric just for playing at church. I read some of the reviews and figured I would take a chance for the price. I'm impressed. Down sides are the tuning pegs slip. But so does an expensive violin. Just push them in and turn. Bow is cheaply made but does its job. All round...it's worth the money!! And the white is pearly and shiny! Which is a plus!!
