My kids were able to sleep comfortably without falling between the seat and the leg space
I was searching for this product all over Internet and finally I found it on Amazon. I travel very long international flights with two small kids every year. It has been very difficult for my kids to sleep on the plane seats. This pillow was a huge ease for them this time. We were on 3 different flights going frm DC all the way to India, Malaysia and Dubai this summer. My kids were able to sleep comfortably without falling between the seat and the leg space. They were able to even rest their little feet while sitting and they absolutely enjoyed the pillow. As for blowing up this pillow, I have to be honest, it was not easy since this is pretty big. Newer aircrafts do not have air outlets anymore. I was able to find air outlet in the pantry area. So I use the air outlet to blow up these pillow for my kids.Me and my husband also enjoyed and rest our feet on this pillow during our long flight. I absolutely love this pillows and I am going to buy for my family members. This pillow is made frm durable plastic and it seems very strong. The height of this pillow is perfectly aline with the airline seats. you can adjust the width to fit the gap by adjusting the air, between the seat and the leg space. This pillow will always be my "must have" item for my flights and long car rides.

I dont normally write reviews but this item is worth the energy! I work as a Luxury Family Travel agent (Jetsetting Families, a Virtuoso company) and have traveled a lot with my kid. Last year we tried business class and economy and both were tortourous with my 1 year old sleeping on me to Europe and California. This year I booked Premium Economy and added two of these pillows and vuala - my son slept and so did I!! They are actually more comfortable to sleep on then the seats. Not so easy to blow up with the air vent, so I blew it up with my mouth pretty quicky (but due to the air pressure from the plane got very light headed afterwards). It is also easy to deflate and folds up pretty small. It is a must have for long haul flights for kids and adults. I am buying more and giving as gifts and to clients!

Firstly, I had to deal with the seller directly because of shipping issues caused by the post office. She is quite a gem and was willing to send another order out immediately with priority shipping, just to get the pillows to me in time before my trip.
We didn't need to use any special air vent or blower, our mouths worked just fine once you allow some air to already be trapped into the pillow and closing the first valve (see youtube instructions)

After 33 hours worth of traveling, my 4 year old traveled like a pro because of this pillow. we were able to stretch out on our seats and slept as if we were sleeping on a bed because of this pillow (i purchased 2).

I highly recommend this to anyone traveling with kids on super long plane rides..it makes flying a whole lot easier and you'll wonder how you ever did it before.

I bought two in anticipation of a long flight overseas with 2 kids and a pregnant wife. I take issue with the following:

1) Not long after receiving the delivery I got an email stating that they were made aware that the blow piece is rigid and offered instructions on how to soften it using hot water or hot air. The significance of the rigid piece is that it makes it MUCH MUCH harder to inflate. I suspect they were aware of this prior to my purchase of this item and felt that it's easier to offer instructions once delivered then preemptively fix the issue.
2) One of the pillows would not retain air straight out of the package.

I have since asked to return the pillows, they offered me a partial refund without returning the item which I chose just so I wouldn't have to deal with them anymore.
It's a good idea, poorly performed. I would NOT buy from this company in the future.

Overall, I am glad that we purchased this travel pillow. We purchased this for flights that were 5 and 11 hours long, and would allow our 2 year old to stretch out and get some good sleep while on the plane, and it didn't cost us very much compared to some of the other airplane "bed" systems that are sold geared toward kids.

The inflation was a bit awkward - what other reviewers have complained about - the stiffness of the valve - was definitely a factor. We really had to get in there and pull to pop the valve out for inflation. None of our flights had the A/C nozzle that would fit, so we manually blew this with our mouths. It didn't take long and wasn't too difficult.

Another awkward point was trying to get it inflated enough that it was full enough to not sink, but not too inflated where we couldn't fit it in the leg space. What we ended up doing was inflating as much as we could to fit into the leg space, and then bending down and finishing the inflation while the pillow was in place on the floor. if inflated too much, it will not fit into the leg space without seriously jostling the seatback of the person in front of you (which isn't great airplane ettiquette). Again, awkward, but I am a small person so it's not a problem for me to bend down to do this. Larger people may have an issue with this. If you don't inflate it enough, the pillow will sink, as will your child, when weight is placed on it.

Deflation is very fast. As soon as they made the descent announcement, I just pop the valve open (pretty easy), and the deflation happens in about a minute.

Storage is great - this folds fairly flat and can go into your personal item or carry-on luggage in a flat pocket.

Again, I'm glad we got it, even if there were awkward moments, and we will be using it on our future long flights.

I bought 2 for our 13 hour trip and they worked out great! I have 2 boys, 7 and 3 years old. They are average in height and on the slender side. The 3 year old slept very comfortably and the 7 year old had to do some bending to fit.

Be sure to read the instructions carefully first. I didn't and ended up inflating both by my mouth. It was definitely worth the purchase however I am not sure how much longer the 7 year old will be able to fit on 2 seats. But it definitely was worth it even if used just once!

UPDATE: Just returned from another trip to Asia and both kids still fit! They are ages 9 and 5 now. (See last picture.)

The concept is good, but overall the product is average. The pillow was awkward to inflate (by mouth) and left a noticeable gap between the seats (perhaps it fits better in coach/economy?). It also hindered retrieving a dropped water bottle or toy. I do like the fact that once deflated it takes up minimal room, and is lightweight. Perhaps if the cost were closer to twenty US dollars I would view it in a more positive light. At the current price point, it just doesn't seem worth it.
