Product Description
1st Class Kid Travel Pillow and Accessories – Ultimate Travel Hacks
- THE FIRST ORIGINAL INFLATABLE FOOTREST: Originally name SkyRest Child+ Est. 2011
After packing, dragging luggage and standing in those lengthy airport cues, the last thing you want once boarded is to be stuck in one position when your child falls asleep across your lap — and all just after takeoff!
The 1st Class Kid Travel Inflatable Footrest is designed so young children can spread out to sleep, rather than lie across other accompanying passengers. The Pillow fits on the floor in-between the passenger seats and does not interfere with the seat in front. Although the pillows primary intended use is for travelling on long haul flights It can be used by all ages and anywhere you need to prop up your feet.
- THINGS TO CONSIDER when choosing your Inflatable Travel Pillow......
- SIZE: Will the pillow fit the leg space of your flight?
1st Class Inflatable Pillow is LARGER than most! Inflated DIMENSIONS 18 by 12 by 18 inches. You may not need to inflate to these measurements.
You can start inflation on your lap or using any available vents but do not inflate to the max until you have placed in position as it will be too big to squeeze into place. Complete inflation by placing on the floor of the plane so the pillow will expand to fit space. You can stop at any time!
- VALVE FUNCTION: Make sure the valve has Fast Deflation!
1st Class Kid Pillows valve has up to 3 options to inflate and exposes a large hole so DEFLATION can be done in seconds!
- VALVE PLACEMENT: How many Valves will you have to deal with? Will you be able to access your valve anytime during the flight? What if you are seated by a non-accompanying passenger! Will you be able to access the valve to inflate or deflate without disturbing other passengers?
1st Class Kid has One Large Valve! You can place pillow so the valve is accessible on top of the pillow or top of the side! No need to get out of your seat to inflate/deflate.
- We recommend you practice inflation before your flight. DO NOT INFLATE until you are at CRUISING LEVEL, treat the pillow like any other carry on item.
- Please check with your airline before purchasing ANY footrest. NOT RECOMMENDED for Emirates, Qantas, Air Canada, Air NZ and Air France Flights. Due to airline policies that may change without notice, we cannot ensure usage on any airline.
1st Class Kid Travel Pillow is Larger than Most Other Inflatable Footrests. Made of High Quality Material and Valve that has up to three options to inflate!.

EXPERIENCE Your Kids Being Comfortable During Flight for Many Hours During Flight!1st Class Kid Pillow has THREE OPTIONS TO INFLATE -
Do not inflate to the max. Inflate to a point so you can still place it in position on the floor, then complete inflation manually or with pump so it expands to fill in space. It is recommended you don’t fill to the max. Best to leave a little air space in the pillow in case of cabin pressure changes. |
ROAD TRIP TIME! 1st Class Kid also WORKS WELL IN THE CAR as a Footrest or EXTRA ROOM FOR PET/s
You can use your car vent to help with inflation. Start inflation with the large, exposed hole of the valve over your car vent. Do not inflate to the max. Start with vent, place & complete inflation when pillow is on floor. This way you can get a tight fit for your journey. |

We didn't need to use any special air vent or blower, our mouths worked just fine once you allow some air to already be trapped into the pillow and closing the first valve (see youtube instructions)
After 33 hours worth of traveling, my 4 year old traveled like a pro because of this pillow. we were able to stretch out on our seats and slept as if we were sleeping on a bed because of this pillow (i purchased 2).
I highly recommend this to anyone traveling with kids on super long plane rides..it makes flying a whole lot easier and you'll wonder how you ever did it before.
1) Not long after receiving the delivery I got an email stating that they were made aware that the blow piece is rigid and offered instructions on how to soften it using hot water or hot air. The significance of the rigid piece is that it makes it MUCH MUCH harder to inflate. I suspect they were aware of this prior to my purchase of this item and felt that it's easier to offer instructions once delivered then preemptively fix the issue.
2) One of the pillows would not retain air straight out of the package.
I have since asked to return the pillows, they offered me a partial refund without returning the item which I chose just so I wouldn't have to deal with them anymore.
It's a good idea, poorly performed. I would NOT buy from this company in the future.
The inflation was a bit awkward - what other reviewers have complained about - the stiffness of the valve - was definitely a factor. We really had to get in there and pull to pop the valve out for inflation. None of our flights had the A/C nozzle that would fit, so we manually blew this with our mouths. It didn't take long and wasn't too difficult.
Another awkward point was trying to get it inflated enough that it was full enough to not sink, but not too inflated where we couldn't fit it in the leg space. What we ended up doing was inflating as much as we could to fit into the leg space, and then bending down and finishing the inflation while the pillow was in place on the floor. if inflated too much, it will not fit into the leg space without seriously jostling the seatback of the person in front of you (which isn't great airplane ettiquette). Again, awkward, but I am a small person so it's not a problem for me to bend down to do this. Larger people may have an issue with this. If you don't inflate it enough, the pillow will sink, as will your child, when weight is placed on it.
Deflation is very fast. As soon as they made the descent announcement, I just pop the valve open (pretty easy), and the deflation happens in about a minute.
Storage is great - this folds fairly flat and can go into your personal item or carry-on luggage in a flat pocket.
Again, I'm glad we got it, even if there were awkward moments, and we will be using it on our future long flights.
Be sure to read the instructions carefully first. I didn't and ended up inflating both by my mouth. It was definitely worth the purchase however I am not sure how much longer the 7 year old will be able to fit on 2 seats. But it definitely was worth it even if used just once!
UPDATE: Just returned from another trip to Asia and both kids still fit! They are ages 9 and 5 now. (See last picture.)
