I have an expensive gaming computer that I just purchased a few months ago. The network card/ethernet plug quit working. It is under warranty and the company sent a new one. I bought this adapter to use while waiting for the new card. It works great. As a matter of fact, when the new card came in, I installed it, and this adapter is 100mps faster than the new card. The ONN 4K Pro streaming box has a major flaw - it's ethernet port is a 100Mbps instead of a much more reasonable 1g port. But, the UGREEN USB to Ethernet Adapter, 1000Mbps Ethernet Adapter with USB 3.0 resolves that issue.

This adapter is plug and play and my download speeds went from 90-ish to 360Mbps instantly. I then attached a USB hub to the ONN box, and plugged this adapter in to the hub - all good, same enhanced speeds.

A great buy (I just wish it had been unnecessary - ONN needs to do better!).
