I love these things and I think they're great. I own several and I use them for everything from mac 'n' cheese to powdered mashed potatoes and microwave rice with curry. Throw one in your lunch box with a grilled cheese sandwich or two and a packet of ramen and you can have chicken ramen with grilled cheese almost anywhere you go.
They're super convenient and durable.
The only problem is if you buy them in stores they come in a box which you can discard and recycle, but if you buy one on Amazon, it comes in a plastic bag with an accursed sticker on it. The sticker's adhesive is terrible; it'll stay there and stay sticky for dozens of washes and it'll resist all sorts of hand scrubbing and soaps.
Fortunately, all you need to do to get rid of the adhesive is peel off the plastic layer of the sticker, wipe a little Goo Gone across the paper and adhesive part, and then leave it there to sit for about 15-30 mins. You'll need to prop it up because the bowl itself is slanted, but you can use a paper towel for that. Anyway, once you leave the Goo Gone to sit and soak for a bit, the adhesive and the remains of the sticker wipe right off! It's fantastic!
Just remember to wash your bowl thoroughly after using Goo Gone on it. You'll only be using a tiny amount of Goo Gone, and only on the outside of the bowl, but Goo Gone is still toxic, so wash it thoroughly just to be safe.

Fantastic Ramen Cooker ~ Okay Mac n' Cheese Cooker........ See Photos
I heard about the Ramen cooker on a forum here on Amazon and was excited to try it! After reading a lot of reviews that said they wished it was a bit bigger to hold more water/ broth, I went with this one instead (Looked deeper to me and does mac n' cheese too; score!)...Upon first trying it for Ramen, we were quite pleased with the results! I'd read in the Ramen cooker reviews that most people's microwaves cooked it best around 4 minutes and with our 900 watt microwave, this proved to be true.Our 4 year old granddaughter is the picky eater who *loves* top ramen in our family. We used a beef bouillon instead of the beef packet and they turned out delicious! Each of us that tried it agreed that without a doubt, it tasted right on point with stove top results.When we tried the cooker out for mac n' cheese, it was another story. Maybe because we followed the instructions... The noodles turned out far too al dente for anyone's liking. We experimented by adding more water and cooking them longer, in 30 second increments but they really didn't get a whole lot better.I didn't think they were bad but my mom insisted that my niece whom we were making it for would know the difference and wouldn't eat it. So my mom made some stove top and made us try it for comparison...I took pictures and am uploading them. I think you'll see the difference. Uploaded two photos, showing each of the two in focus. My mom proved her point... What a difference! I'm convinced that I just need to get the right timing and balance mastered and we'll have better results.Regardless, I'm happy with our purchase and would recommend it to others. After figuring out what formula works best for us, I'll update this review.BPA free and dishwasher safe. Gave one to my sister-in-law for my mac n cheese loving niece. Will buy another for our daughter to make noodles for our grand baby at her place too.The handles stay cool to the touch out of the microwave and since you can cook and serve with it, it really does save on both dishes and time. Thicker plastic than Tupperware and the likes; really feels well made. Buy with confidence. Smile. Hope this helps!
