Suggested Usage

Apply a thin layer to clean skin. Gently massage in a circular motion with wet fingertips to polish with micro-polishing Aluminum Oxide Crystals. Leave on for 3 to 7 minutes depending on skin sensitivity and let the AHAs and enzymes work. Rinse thoroughly. Use 1 or 2 times a week. For external use only.

AMAZING. I love every PTR product I have ever tried and this mask is no exception. First, and foremost - the ingredients: this has a TON of pumpkin in it. So many products have so little active ingredient and are just chock full of preservatives, emulsifiers and basically cheap fillers. Pumpkin is a wonderful and natural exfoliator rich in vitamins your skin will love like A, C, and E.

I have active, acne prone very oily skin. AHA's are great for keeping my pores clear. I use this as a mask and also as a scrub/cleanser. It's super thick and sticky in the jar yet melts nice on to your skin when you apply it. You only need a dime size for your hole face. It's thick enough so it doesn't drip or make a mess. The granules are very, very fine and so it's not an abrasive scrub at all. I use this about once a week after I cleanse. It makes my skin incredibly SOFT, clean, and brightens, and has helped to lighten acne hyper pigmentation so much. It it POTENT. If you have sensitive skin, I would do a patch test first, and/or leave it on less than the time it suggests. It feels like a light peel and tingles a lot. My skin loves it, and what a great deal on Amazon! Packaging was brand new and fresh.

As with all products in a jar, I'd suggest not using your fingers to scoop it out. If you do, make sure your hands are very clean. I use a fresh q-tip to scoop out all my products in jars, and them close them immediately to keep bacteria out :-)

I wanted to wait to write a review after going through at least half the jar to see if this stuff was really doing anything for me. Im happy to report, this quickly has become one of my favorite once a week masks. The scent is amazing! My boyfriend, who tries new masks with me every time I buy a new one isnt fond of it. Its rough for his skin and he doesnt like the heat/hot sensation it causes. I apply mine differently than the instructions. I wet my face, apply a generous amount with a mask brush, then let it dry for about 15-20 minutes. I then wet my facial scrubber and gently, lightly scrub for a few seconds my whole face, then wash off. This method gives me the best results compared to what I got when I followed the directions on the jar. Think of it as a polisher/resurfacer. My face is so soft each time & after 6 weeks I've noticed a really big difference in how my skin looks. It really has smoothed out the texture of my skin which is what I've been trying to accomplish for two years now. I use this mask 1-2 times per week along with Emenence Hugarian Mud Mask 3 times a week.....my other favorite mask. This is the first ever Thomas Roth product I've tried. I'll def look into buying more.

I don't really write that many reviews but I just had to for this. I'm 29 going on 30 and I decided to start dedicating some serious time to skin care. Anyways, I was looking for a cheaper alternative to my esthetician's $40 pumpkin mask that I can do at home in between facials. I looked this up, went to Sephora, asked for a sample, tried it, and loved it! I'm glad I found it on Amazon for about half the price. I've used it three times so far, and each of the times, this mask has left my skin looking brand new the next day. CAUTION: Be careful and DO NOT GO OUT IN THE SUN the day after. I'm a teacher and made the mistake of conducting a mile run here in sunny So Cal without wearing a hat and boom, my skin was super dry after I took a shower later that night =(. That was my fault for being a skin care newbie with AHA. Needless to say, I slathered on every moisturizer that I had, and when I woke up, the dry skin just rolled off easily (2 days after treatment and sun exposure....). My coworkers even noticed that my skin looked nice and smooth. Anyways, GET THIS, just don't go out in the sun without a hat or umbrella and definitely wear sunscreen!

The exfoliating beads were a bit rough, however, if massaging gently over the face, it wasn’t too aggressive. What an awesome product! Just a little info - I’m a 23 year old male who’s pretty familiar with skincare but I’d never used anything from Peter Thomas Roth before. Cleansed first, applied two small-ish scoops, gently massaged in and left on for 6 minutes (felt very tingly, nothing uncomfortable though). After rinsing I was pretty shocked, not gonna lie. Skin tone and texture was definitely improved, and after 5-10 minutes when everything had calmed down my skin was so smooth it’s insane. Plus, the smell is straight up pumpkin pie, which only makes it even better. Love it.

On the first use, got distracted and kept it on for maybe three times as long as recommended but still didn’t feel any burning or stinging. In addition to the acids, it also includes small exfoliating particles that act as a scrub as you wash the product off.
