To be honest, I thought the book was going to be.......stupid. IT IS NOT! ( I am personally put off by the word "hacks", as so many authors use the term loosely,and often mistakenly.) This book is a quick read, but it TRULY offers some advice and insight that ANYONE can put to use. ( I found the chapter on free education, (("MOOC's")) especially useful! ) The other information within the pages will help you save a bit of money , too. I have worked in the hotel industry, and can personally attest to the effectiveness of the "hotel upgrade hack". This book is well written, and informative, and at the time of this writing; it was free. GET IT NOW!

This had several strategies for saving money and making it go further. Some I knew about and some I didn't.
It was well written and easy to read. I read it in a day or two. I am always on the lookout for new ways to save money on anything and everything.

The one tip that really helped me was the one about buying discounted gift cards. I used one of the links in the book and I saved myself some money. It only took a few minutes of my time to accomplish this feat!

I wasn't overly impressed with these ideas. Things like buying in bulk or freezing water bottles for ice are pretty basic ideas for most people. There were a few ideas I hadn't thought of but they either weren't relevant to me or were more applicable to Americans than Canadians. If you're not familiar with many frugal ideas then this book could be helpful.
