My first ukulele was a super cheap kinda crappy $20 ukulele I got off of amazon. After having it for about a year and learning the basics of playing I decided it was time to get a better one. After shopping around I decided to get this one. I'm definitely not a pro player but I can say this is a wonderful ukulele! It can be plugged into an amp or it can be played normally and it also has a built in tuner which is SOOOOO convenient. The ukulele seems to be very good quality but just beware that for the first month or so it will get out of tune quite often. It's not that big of a deal since there is a built in tuner. Also the design looks kind of cheap. I got the design with birds and the branches which looks really nice from far away but when you get closer you'll see that it looks etched in a line pattern (see picture) but other than that I really love this ukulele! Shipping took a few weeks but then again it did ship from China and came in excellent condition. Would totally recommend for beginners!

    I love my ukulele. Got it for Christmas in 2016 and i was so happy !!

    There is pros and cons though.

    Cons:

    Buzzing sound (not plugged to amp) I do not mind it since I don’t want to return to get a new one because I already added stickers and painted my intitals on the back. It’s only slight and if I don’t press as hard on the strings it smoothes out a little

    People say there’s came with a plug but mine didn’t and the plug we have doesn’t fit!

    When trying to tune in public (choir room with whispers or in the hallway with like 3 kids talking quietly waiting for our parents) it picks up the quietest noises. It’s fine though because I usually just ask to go to the bathroom and tune it there.

    Brand stickers fell off on the top of the ukulele. Would’ve been cool if they were metal or maybe even cut in like the design!!

    Pros:

    My first ukulele and is really well done!! Love the design and it’s easy. If you get tired easily or this is your first then get a soprano, concert is a bit big and soprano feels more light and you can reach better. My friend has a soprano so that’s how I know lol.

    Sounds good aside from buzzing.

    Durable since I recently dropped it and it didn’t have a scratch

    Also if you bring it to school everyone will want to see you play!!! Or anywhere for that matter

    Well, for starters, it's beautiful. The design is ingrained into the instrument, so you don't have to worry about scratching it off with your nails or damaging it with a pick. The strings take a day or two of constant fine-tuning to reach the point where the strings don't de-tune themselves. The tuner itself works great, and when plugged in it sounds pretty good. This is coming from somebody who usually plays acoustic, and bass. Really, it sounds super good.

    Now, I was looking into other reviews and people said "Not to trust 5-star reviews for a company nobody has ever heard of." Well, that's how companies work. At first, nobody knows about them. Somebody buys their product, leaves a review. Somebody else sees this review, and they decide its worth their time. Then THAT person leaves a review, and the cycle continues. So far this Ukelele has been fantastic, and has been worth each and every cent. If you're a beginner with some money to spend, I say you should get this one. Yes, yes there are other brands and I completely understand if you go on and buy a more recognized brand, but you won't be disappointed when this arrives on your doorstep.

    it was a good Ukelele, but the tuner didn't work. A light would turn on when I held the tuner button.

    I did a return with Amazon, got the new one, sent the old one back, same problem, but this one rattles a tiny bit. I contacted Kmise directly, they emailed back and forth for a little, but their responses got more and more spaced out till they just stopped. I sent video, a picture of the wires in the Ukelele, but they gave up.

    packaging sucks. it's a tiny box inside of a massive box, so the ukulele can slide around a ton.

    Please read all of my review before coming to a conclusion. I have been playing the guitar and ukulele for 50+ years, I am not a playing expert but I know what sounds good. This is truly a beginner instrument. It took about 4 weeks for the strings to settle down and stay in tune. I am not sure if the strings were stretching or the neck was bending. I tested the neck with a straight edge and all was good. The fret height is a little inconsistent. Now to the sound quality! The sound quality is normal for a beginner instrument of this price range. However, it really comes alive if you use the electronics played through a decent acoustic amplifier. You cannot compare this to a professional instrument but, for the price it sounds decent. The built in tuner is about 97% accurate. I found it to indicated a slightly sharper than true. (not a big deal.) I would normally give a 3 star review for this ukulele but for the price I decided to go for 5 stars.
