Wow... I find Tic-Toc to be an inspirational journey. So many happy faces to see. So many interesting subjects to view whether alone or with friends. However, I believe tic-toc is borderline when it comes to being age-appropriate only due to the language in song lyrics these days.Otherwise, it’s a clean platform not for 4-5-year-olds. It’s worth checking out for yourself.

So.... Musical.ly is a great app, but I have a couple of complaints. My first complaint us with the lack of most features. Apple and Samsung users are gifted with video edits like reverse (Witch I would love to use) that are not available for Kindle. All of my friends use a Apple or Samsung phone for the recording of their musicals. This did not bother me as I was going to get a Apple product soon. The second issue is that it will not allow a account to be made. I got this app a while back and made an accountunt with no issue, but recently I wanted to make a second account for my friends to also join , Which would be as easy as giving them the username and password. So, in retrospect, no different than making a normal account. But, I did not even make it as far as making a video. I pressed the -Create Account- Button and it popped up with a message that said "You must download the newest version of Musical.ly to continue using Musical.ly" I thought this was fine and clicked OK expecting to be brought to the app store and have an option to "Update". Instead it simply left me back to the Create account screen with the information I was go in to use to make an account still there. Frustrated, I pressed the button over and over, just to press OK every time. I tried the same thing with new information and everything on another Kindle we have in the house, same type and everything, down to the last microchip, and the same message popped up. So I went back on my Kindle and logged back into my account and went to the appstore via the Kindle home screen. There was no option to Update. Frustrated yet again, I went back to the app. This brings us to the third reason...The notifications do not work! Again, after having the app for only a few weeks the notifications worked fine, but one day they would not update. I was stuck on the notifications for, say, Tuesday. The Tuesday notifications would not update. It was like living Tuesday over and over. (Why hello there Supernatural fans) And after a few days, there was no notifications even there. It just said at the top Notifications and Priority or whatever.I just felt with this too, even that's a little absurd. E.g. if I were to get featured, that wouldn't even show up on the notifications. And that's a really big deal. Lastly we have UNABLE TO UPDATE. This happened less than thirty minutes ago and it was my last straw. It said the same thing like- To continue using Musical ly you must download the newest blah blah blah. Get this- The okay button did not take me to the app store! I never would've guessed. When I came to the app store to Update (yeah, right) there was no update button. It just said open. Anndd that brings us here. Thanks for listening to this long rant, but I wanted to make sure no one got in the same frustration pool as me. I do love the app but after what I just talked about, one star. I will not continue to use if musical.ly does not fix these issues! If you found this helpful, please check helpful so we can get this to the top page. This version of Musical.ly feels as if the staff started working on it and never finished. It's such a shame because musical.ly USED to be a GREAT app! 😒
