The quality of this lightning to USB keychain is extremely good and it looks much nicer in person than it appears in photographs. The metal part is very 'apple' and is smooth and modern looking. The center bolt also has a contemporary look/build and the connection to/from iPhone to laptop works as it should. Perhaps the only negative is that the use-case is very narrow. I'll attach a picture to show the only way I've been able to use it, which is right next to my laptop with my phone on a table. Both sides of the connections come out of their slots easily, so there's no hanging this off of a power brick or a tower-type PC or Mac. This is the way to go if you don't want a long cable sticking out of your laptop, just know there aren't many other ways (that I could think of) that would add to its use.

3.5 stars maybe? For its limitations - and the price is way out of line (at least in my opinion). I do like Belkin products, but this one I'm not quite sure is as practical as I'd hoped it'd be.
It attached easily to my keychain. So if I'm ever somewhere and think - "Oh no! I forgot my charger," there it will be. However, if I do not have the ac adapter unit or a laptop to hook it to, it doesn't do me any good. So to that end, it could be a great thing or it could be a "Well, dang - what am I going to hook this to?" I do understand it is made with limitations in mind--it's supposed to be portable--if it had the long cord and the ac adapter unit, it wouldn't fit on a keychain to place in a purse, bag, pocket, etc, now would it? But it is so very short that it must be especially made to connect to your laptop to charge, sync, etc., and that's about it.
I'd ordered this with travel in mind, thinking how great it'd be to have this handy little gadget, but not thinking that for my needs it may not be the best for travel after all. I don't travel with my laptop, ever. So if I wanted to use this while traveling, I'd either have to borrow an ac adapter unit, or someone's laptop. And connecting it directly to an ac adapter brings the problem of it being so short that my phone would dangle in mid-air.
All that written, I still do like the idea of having this on my keychain as a just in case measure, or an extra charging/syncing unit--I can always toss in an ac unit adapter and still not have to worry about cords all over the place. But, if I plug it into a wall ac plug, as I wrote above, I'd have to find a way to rest the phone on a surface or else it'd just be dangling there.
I would like to see the price lowered on this unit. I can't see paying $35 for it.
I do like the look of this: a nice metallic blue, and it's well-made. Came packaged very nicely, as well. Photos below.
