Tiffany Aching Complete 5-Book Collection: The Wee Free Men, A Hat Full of Sky, Wintersmith, I Shall Wear Midnight, The Shepherd's Crown Kindle Edition
This collection includes all five Tiffany Aching novels in Terry Pratchett's beloved and bestselling Discworld series, including the final Discworld novel, The Shepherd's Crown.
The Wee Free Men: Armed with only a frying pan and her common sense, young witch-to-be Tiffany Aching must defend her home against the monsters of Fairyland. Luckily she has some very unusual help: the local Nac Mac Feegle—aka the Wee Free Men.
A Hat Full of Sky: Tiffany Aching is ready to begin her apprenticeship in magic. She expects spells and magic—not chores and ill-tempered nanny goats! Surely there must be more to witchcraft than this! Indeed, there is. . . .
Wintersmith: When the Spirit of Winter takes a fancy to Tiffany Aching, he wants her to stay in his gleaming, frozen world. Forever. It will take the young witch's skill and cunning, as well as help from the legendary Granny Weatherwax and the irrepressible Wee Free Men, to survive until Spring.
I Shall Wear Midnight: As the witch of the Chalk, Tiffany Aching performs the distinctly unglamorous work of caring for the needy. But someone—or something—is inciting fear, generating dark thoughts and angry murmurs against witches. Tiffany must find the source of unrest and defeat the evil at its root, for if she falls, the whole Chalk falls with her. . . .
The Shepherd's Crown: Deep in the Chalk, something is stirring. The owls and the foxes can sense it, and Tiffany Aching feels it in her boots. An old enemy is gathering strength. This is a time of endings and beginnings, old friends and new, a blurring of edges and a shifting of power. Now Tiffany stands between the light and the dark, the good and the bad. There will be a reckoning. . . .

- Reviewed in the United States on November 15, 2017This is a wonderful collection of books from a wonderful author. I had previous completely missed the Tiffany Aching books because my bookstore had classified them as YA, and I had no idea Terry Pratchett had written any YA books. As with all of Terry Pratchett, these books make you laugh, think, and fill your heart. I recommend them highly.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 31, 2023I love almost all of the disc world stories and have them as hardback and adding some of them to my kindle due to eye issues and to have them with me no matter where I am. Keeping the hardbacks because two sets are better than one.
If you have not read any of them, why not?? Run now to the library, local bookstore, or computer and find them, check them out, see what you are interested in. Read reviews or go on YouTube and type in his name.
Tiffany Aching had won Awards and his stories make me want to visit.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 26, 2015The great Sir Terry has left us, but he left us with his splendid, wise, humane and funny works. This wonderful collection is some of his best work.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 19, 2022I love Terry Pratchett's books! This coming-of-age story about a young girl who is determined to be a real witch instead of a dairy maid grabbed me and sucked me into Terry Pratchett's Discworld where so many interesting people's stories have taken place. Sir Terry left us far too soon.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 4, 2016My six year old and I read these books and found them to be consistently delightful. We like to go around shouting "ACh, crivens" which generally confuses people but gives us a case of the giggles. Read the books, you stunners, you will like them!
- Reviewed in the United States on July 14, 2019While a wonderful romp through fantasy, this story arch is full of practical advice . It would do many a person good to learn the lessons Tiffany Aching learns as she finds her own place in the world. No one has all the answers, but sometimes knowing the right questions is almost as good.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 30, 2021Tiff, and the wee free men are one of my favorite story arcs in (or on) disk world. The characters are always good for funny, yet thought provoking quotes.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 3, 2022Love Pratchet. I've come to the conclusion I'm a witch. You do what needs to be done, yanno?
