    This was bought for an application on a video rig. Works well, but not 100% of what i need it to be. Cable was too long, too thick and the connection at the TypeC end would lose the data feed when i jiggled the connector. Used on a mirrorless camera connected to Atomos Ninja V & V+. It was fine if I handled my rig gingerly, but any handling that might jiggle the connection at the camera end and I would lose the data feed to the Atomos and it would restart—interrupting the recording.

    I unplug and replug the connections every day as I use this with a portable monitor. So far the connections have maintained with no issues. Cable is thick and seems sturdy.     I bought this to connect a camera with a mini-hdmi output port to a television or other item with a full-size hdmi input port. Item works fine between camera and tv. Cable is a little stiff considering that one end is a small size plug. But it works. By the way, this cable does not work for connecting camera (output) to laptop (input). Apparently the hdmi port on a laptop is one-way out.

    This is NOT FOR PHONES! This is for connecting laptops, tablets, or what have you with a MINI HDMI connection; NOT for those with a MICRO HDMI connection, as it is entirely too big and will not connect to a standard charging port on a smartphone.

    That being said; this product is sturdy in construction and has solid stress reliefs built in on both ends. The male connectors on each end hook in snugly to my HDMI port on my television and into my Mini HDMI port on my laptop, without wobble or strain hang.

    The picture and sound quality is perfect, and nothing less than any other HDMI connectors I have coming from other electronics which cost more money than this cord.

    I looked at several different makes of this cord before making my purchase and I would have to say that overall this is the best value for the money. It does the one exact job it's manufactured to do extremely well and I have no reason to spend additional money for a cinnamon covered braided woven HDMI cord that will do the same job.

    If I were to need another one of these for an additional laptop or television, I would purchase this same cord without hesitation.
