Looks like I got the last one
This is my first bass, I saw this no name with only one left in stock and got excited. Arrived out of the box damage free. Looked like they were in a hurry to finish this last one. The pickups were half screwed in and the frets were too sharp to play, fingerboard dry, was overall kind of rough so I took it to my guitar tech who gave it the complete setup including polish frets, oil fingerboard, tightened/adjusted everything and replaced the strings with 40-100 nickel strings. It cost more to make it playable than the bass cost but Now it looks and plays great, and I’m all in on it at $155 - cheaper than a 2 or 300 bass that I’d still have to get setup anyway, and this one’s as good or better anyways. No regrets here, I’m glad I got it.

I've had this bass for 5 months now, play it almost every day, and I love her. The intonation and machineheads have always been spot on, and stays in tune for a long time. The body feels great, and the neck is solid. For a "no name" bass it's absolutely worth it. My long time playing friends can't even tell it's a cheap guitar.

If you're buying it as a beginner, like I did, here's some suggestions from my experience. First you will need a different strap. The included strap broke on day two. I recommend a different gig bag for it too. It's nice to have the one included as a backup, but it's just a thin nylon bag. I also restrung her with a set of GHS Strings Stainless Steel Flat Wound Bass Strings, Long Scale Plus (.045-.105). Those strings are amazing. The stings that come on it are completely fine and sound great though too.

You'll also want a Snark for tuning, and an amp of course. I ordered a Fender Rumble 25. It's quite enough for personal practice, and can keep up without a problem during jam sessions. The only problem I've had with this bass is the hum. We've tried to figure out ways to make it lower, but short of replacing the pickups you'll just have to deal with it. Honestly for the price it's completely ok. I absolutely recommend buying this bass.

Edit: Wow its been over two years already? I’m still playing this bass, it hasn’t let me down once yet. Still highly recommend it.

This is a great inexpensive bass guitar for a beginner to try and learn how to play. The one I received has an overall quality look. My only complaint is the ends of the metal frets extend too far from the neck on both sides. I am still trying to decide how to fix that problem without damaging the wood of the neck.

The intonation is great, there is no buzz or hum, the only complaint I have is the finish on the neck is a little weak but other than that, I would have been happy even at $300. If you need a bass, especially for home recording, this thing is a great deal.

Update Review: now I’ve own this bass for almost a year I’m still trash lol, but after almost one year of owning this bass I can confirm the action is very high, one of the strap pins does not tighten so I can’t use a strap unless I want the bass to fall off.
The cable is very cheap and the bag too and the pick was already shredded within a week

So do I recommend this to a beginner?
Yes and no, it’s a yes because it’s a cheap bass for them just to try out and see if they’ll continue playing bass, but once they keep going they’re going to need to replace this bass at some point

Like guitar center or fb market place has good used basses if you look at the right spots

Like for example I saw this Yamaha bass for under 200 bucks which I’m gonna say it’s probably wayyy better than this bass

This bass is cheap you get what you payed for

Anyways enjoy my attempt on blitzkrwig bop from the ramones on bass

For the price, I am happy with the guitar. I bought it so I could learn how to play and this will work fine.

    First impressions:
-The blue is so dark, it basically just looks black unless you are up close.
-Aside from that, it looks beautiful.
-There is some static on the line when trying to play it. I am not sure if this is something I can fix but I will play around with it.
-There was some very minor damage to the back of the wooden body of the guitar. It isn't a huge deal and doesn't affect the musical quality. It looks like it happened during transit. There isn't much padding in the box protecting the guitar.
-The tuning knobs feel a little loose and so far don't seem to hold a tune well between sessions.

As I said, I am happy with the guitar. For a learning tool, it will work just fine and the price was just what I needed. If I find I really love playing Bass, then I will definitely trade up though.
