Living Small explores the world of tiny houses through the lives of the people on the movement's forefront. The film centers on Anderson Page as he builds a tiny house for the first time, discovering the challenges and rewards of constructing one's own living space. Living Small offers an alternative meditation on the spaces we inhabit and asks the question: Could we live more... with less?
Good information if you are considering a smaller living space. I thought it was well researched and provided valuable information on small living spaces. Not an in depth instructional building video, but lays out some of the facts to consider when thinking about a tiny house. Shows different concepts and some questions raised that you might not think about. I watched it the second time as I am thinking about a tiny house for my later retirement years, you know when you need to be near your kids and are just ready to stop having the big spaces to clean.
This documentary was very well-done in terms of cinematography and story line in comparison to other tiny house documentaries we have seen. It also was a fair representation, we think, of what tiny house living is and can be, mainly that it is great for some but not all people.
Very interesting! It motivated me to finish purging clothes etc after a recent move. It is refreshing to watch as a reminder of the overindulgence and excess in the world we live in. As a borderline hoarder myself it reminds me of the joys of camping and living simply. Don't know how long I would last in a tiny house but I like the idea of it!
Well made. Good story but also some "empty" scenes in which they instead could have provided more information like costs, and more examples of the multifunctionality of the spaces, etc. Husband thought it was worth 4 stars but I overruled him as his wife.
Good inside look at how other accomplish this task, would like to see more prime videos on how, design, construction like a how to class on pitfalls, failures and wins. The show was worth watching to understand what and how or why folks are downsizing.
