Life changing product & company – literally…

When I turned 50 I noticed my lashes were beginning to fall out. It had gotten to the point where I had obvious bald areas on both eyes. Horrified I tried conditioning with every oil imaginable. I used lash conditioners, etc. Nothing worked. I decided to get a fiber lash kit and based on reviews I chose the Simply Naked Beauty Lash Science Gold kit. Along with the lash gel & fibers you get their Lash Science Gold Nourishing Mascara. THIS MASCARA HAS BEEN LIFE CHANGING!!! I immediately fell in love with this mascara! It went on beautifully, never clumping and it was truly waterproof. After about 3 weeks I started noticing my lashes were coming back, and after 4-5 weeks I noticed they were actually getting longer than I’ve ever had. The only thing I have done during this time is use this nourishing mascara. It alone has brought back my lashes and they are beautiful. I will NEVER use anything else – EVER. I wrote the company to inquire about this mascara and the response I received was as wonderful as the product. I didn’t get an auto response, but instead a warm and personal message from a real person. They not only answered my inquiry but have also have shown concern about my situation. I cannot remember getting this kind of a warm, caring and immediate response from any company, let alone one that is producing the best mascara money can buy. I personally recommend this mascara, and this company – Simply Naked Beauty to anyone who wears cosmetics. You will NOT be disappointed!

I was looking for a quality mascara that wouldn't smudge on my under eyes and eyebrow bone, something that would last all day. This system is amazing! I'd heard of people using fiber mascara before but I was scared of getting stuff in my eyes. This stuff is easy to use (I'm a makeup novice), it is not messy, and I've never gotten anything in my eye, best of all it really works! This photo is of one eye done and the other not, and I'm sure you can tell the difference. Really happy with this purchase.

I hate false eyelashes and don't use them. My lashes used to be thick and full, but with age are no longer so. I never liked mascara with fibers in them because the fibers got into my eyes. This stuff is really different! I have tried every mascara ever made and this kit is the best and most natural look, hands down. It comes with a lush mascara in addition to the gel and fiber tubes. The gold mascara is very good; comes with an hourglass shaped brush, and is a good consistency. It does not irritate my very sensitive eyes. That said, I think I prefer the look without using the mascara first.

I curl my lashes and then hold both the gel and fiber tubes in my hand. I use the gel like a mascara, but mostly on the tips of the lashes (it goes on and covers like a mascara). I do this on one eye (top lash) and immediately follow with the fiber. I brush that onto the tips and it immediately lengthens and fills in. I repeat this step on the lower lash, then on the other upper and lower lashes, one at a time. I wait until this "sets" and brush the lashes carefully with the included spiral brush. I find that this one coat is enough for me, and follow it with a coat of the gel, on all lashes, to seal the fibers in. I do not find fibers in my eyes or on my face.

The only issue I run into is when the gel gets onto my lid or other surface. I use a makeup remover pen to take it off, as just a Q-tip doesn't really get it off--it is pretty "permanent". However, at night, my makeup remover takes it all off easily in the shower with no remaining mess or raccoon eyes. My eyes don't get puffy or red at night from irritation, which is a miracle!

I can't believe I didn't know about this! I know there are many different brands of this, but I like that it is from a company here in the US. I needed a replacement and they instantly shipped one. I also found their communication friendly and instant...no waiting for time zones. I also like that the fibers are from tea rather than questionable materials. Things that go that close to my eye worry me. If anyone's eyes could be irritated, it would be mine...and they're not!

Absolutely the best mascara I have ever used. I am in my 50s and have struggled for years to find the right mascara. I consider my lashes a little bit shorter than average and very light but my main problem has been my deep set eyes that caused raccoon eyes by the end of the day even when using waterproof mascaras. I searched online for best reviews, used what friends and family recommended but nothing ever seemed to work. I used cheap drugstore mascara and I used very expensive high-end department store mascara but nothing worked the way I wanted. I had an event I needed to go to and considered getting lash extensions, but then I saw a Facebook ad for this product and thought I would give it a try. Whoever thought Facebook ads would work on me! From the first time I used it I found it incredible. At first it took a little longer than normal to apply with the three separate tubes, but I did not experience any raccoon eyes and my lashes looked incredible and I actually had people comment on them. This is now my daily mascara and now that I'm on my third month, it doesn't take me very long to apply the product at all. I am so glad I took a chance and purchased this product praying that it wouldn't be yet another gimmick. I have never been a believer in one size fits all which is why you have so many different products available, but for me this is the product I've been searching for my entire life when it comes to my eyelashes.

First time I used it, I don't think I followed the instructions properly, so didn't work very well to be honest, I was a little disheartened. I tried again, and this time followed the instructions very precisely, and it worked a treat. You have to let the mascara dry, then with the fibers you must not put alot of pressure on at all, I think I put too much pressure on the first time, and again I waited up to about a minute before applying the second layer of gel, and my lashes did actually look fuller and longer so I'm very happy I purchased. I was sceptical at first but I am glad I got it now.

In some of the photos I felt that women eye lashes looked clumpy. After receiving feedback (almost immediately) from the manufacturer on application and use I tried again. I wasn't happy the first time I tried it and thought it was faulty. However it was my error in understanding the instructions. When I tried again I was very happy. Int he first photo of my lashes the left has one full application of all and the right eye only has the serum on (which only gave my lashes some tint). The last photo is after 2 full applications of the fibre and gel. I noticed a huge difference and was quite impressed with the length it gave my lashes! I will have to update my review once I see how it does on my sensitive eyes and lasting power. :)

I got this to help with the transition from eyelash extensions. I honestly did not have a lot of lashes to work with so this stuff really was under pressure to do the job! I'm thrilled to say that it did and my friends genuinely thought that I'd backed out of getting the extensions removed and had retained some. There's a bit more involved than putting on regular mascara but it's easy to get the hang of it. I'd recommend waiting until this is applied before adding make-up to the area under the eyes as tiny fibres can sprinkle as you are applying it. It's heavy duty so lasts well until it's removed properly. I would totally recommend this and hope to repurchase when it runs out!

As far as the ingredients go, I was really happy. The packaging was nice and came with a carrying case, extra applicator etc. However, I had to throw the whole thing out because the applicator brushes just fell apart in the tubes. Every time you'd re-dip an applicator, bristles would come off in the tube. Therefore, you couldn't use the product as it had all these sharp bristles in the tube. One of them got mixed in with my lashes and it was quite painful.

This product does do what it states it does. The reason for only 4 stars and not 5 is, no matter how gentle I am putting on the product some of it always ends up under my eyes and on my eye lids. I need to take a q-tip with makeup remover on it to get it off. So I had to change up the way I put my makeup on as I could no longer put my eye makeup on before the mascara and doing that you end up with eye shadow on the lashes. Because of this I will not be continuing the use of this product which is sad as it does work.
