Effective, Long Lasting
This soap delivered results after the first use, and survived over 2 months of daily, sometimes twice-daily, bathing. It has a clean, mildly soapy scent that does not irritate.EFFECTIVEI have über sensitive, drama queen skin that gets PTSD whenever exposed to fragrances and certain other ingredients in soaps, shampoos, clothing detergents. Even soaps, detergents etc that are labeled for “sensitive skin” are irritants. A dermatologist prescribed a helpful topical ointment Rx, but it is impossible for the ointment to treat the chill-inducing “in-shower” itches I experienced daily. The only help for that was Beekman’s goat milk soap. In shower itches are gone and I only half to apply half of my topical Rx to maintain peace until the next bath/shower.LONG LASTING (with a hack)Big thanks to all reviewers who mentioned the relatively short life (especially relative to price) of the soap. Their feedback cued me to cut (or “hack”… lol) the soap in what thought was smaller, week-long bars. The bars extended well beyond a week so I began to cut them in squares. This practice— and the purchase of a draining soap dish— extended my purchase for over 2 months of daily shower: The Beekman’s bar arrived on September 30, 2023 and I used the last of the portions I cut yesterday, December 16, 2023.I recommend the bar for sensitive skin, and the hack for a longer lasting bar.
