Alpha's in the Wild takes you on a wild ride through 3 very different, fast paced and complex love stories.
In Hello Darkness you meet Moira and Tim.
Moira is a park ranger and Tim is a doctor as well as the Arch Druid. Tim is also Moira's first and only love. They split up while still in college because of things Tim was not allowed to tell Moira. Moira thought he didn't love her and didn't want to commit. Years pass and they meet up again at the clinic where Tim is a doctor. Awww how sweet. Think you have it all figured out? Wrong! Guess again!
Moira is in the middle of a nasty divorce from her psycho shaman ex Ryan.
Ann Gimpel gives you an action packed page turner full of magic, love, second chances and hidden strength in this story.
Next up you get Tina and Craig and an evil deity who wants Tina for himself.
Tina is a doctor and Craig a mountain guide with his own tour company. 7 years ago on a trip up a mountain in Belize Tina nearly dies and is "saved" by an unknown force. She has 7 years to live her life and then she must return to him or he will kill her.
Tina breaks up with Craig and moves back to Colorado where she lives a life of solitude and works as a doctor. 2 months before the 7 years are up the entity "reminds" Tina of her commitment to him and that she must return to the mountain.
Tina hires on as the tour doctor on a mountain climbing expedition with Craig's company so she can say her goodbyes and meet her "destiny".
Complications with an egotistical guide assistant, inexperienced climbers, and inclement weather are just the backdrop for a story where love can indeed conquer all, even a lonely god bent on claiming her as his own.
The third and final story in the box set is A Run For Her Money which stars Sara as a veteran mountain ranger, her loyal dog Jake, Jared, an entrepreneur/CEO/hiker and aliens.
What do you do when you find out everyone you know, and even those you don't have been taken over by evil aliens? Well, if you are Sara you stay hidden in the mountains and with the help of Jared and some "scientists" you take on the evil aliens who are attempting to take over earth and thwart their nefarious plan. But in order to do this, you must learn to trust in someone other than yourself and open yourself up to love.
Ann Gimpel weaves another page turning epic with this story that will have you fixated until the last page.
Alphas in the Wild is a masterpiece of deftly woven tales that will have you feeling the stormy winds of the Colorado Rockies, the bitter temperatures of the mountains in Belize and have you tripping over hidden rocks and tree roots in the back country of America. Ann Gimpel takes you to each place with her intricate and seamless story telling. A wonderful mix of the paranormal and sci fi that will have you trapped within its pages until the last period of the book.
