I was supplied with a sample of the Anker PowerCore Edge 20000mah portable battery . The following is my honest review

Package:
Anker PowerCore Edge comes in the same nice package as other Anker products. For this particular product it includes:
1. Anker Powercore edge 20000mah battery
2. Carrying case
3. MicroUsb cable
4. Quick start guide

Build and finish:
This is the best looking and most stylish high capacity portable battery on the market.
The Anker Powercore edge casing is made of some type of aluminum or alloy. It has a nice graphite color smooth finish.
It's solidly built. One of the edge is tapered smoothly with no sharp edge so it feels nice to carry.
On one shorter side, there are the 4 LED power level indicator, two USB charging port (output) and one microusb port (input) and a power button.

Overall the fit and finish are top notch. If you want an elegant design and nice looking power bank to match your other apple devices, this will be it. It goes very nicely with iphone , ipad or macbook air type of simple elegant design.

Anker know that the nice finish of the battery needs some kind of protection so they also include a nice looking carrying case. It has a magnetic closure and also includes a a compartment to store your microusb cable . The material of the case unfortunately is only so so even though the look and design is nice. It's made of some kind of synthetic material but it feels a rough and cheap and easily attracts dust. I would really hope that they could use some real cloth or better fabric which would match the premium feel of the battery itself. Nevertheless, i think this little case is just a bonus.

Performance:
This battery is rated at 20000mah. It's does not support Qualcomm fast charge in either direction.

To charge this battery fully from empty requires about 10 hours using my Anker 40W USB charge which charges at 2.0 A at 5V.

I have tried using it to charge a series of different devices in my collection which includes but not limited to:
Samsung Note Edge
Galaxy Note 4
LG Optimus F6
Nexus 7 (2013)
Galaxy Tab S

Whether it be charging one single device or two concurrently, the battery is able to supply steady current and voltage. For example, when charging the Note 4, it reaches the max current of about 1.75A which is about the same as what you get when using a standard non-qualcomm 2.0 wall charger. The current and voltage remain stable when a second device is plugged in our unplugged from the battery.

The best thing about this battery is that it does not run hot at all. It remains cool all the time when it's being charged or when it's charging one or two devices. This gives user the peace of mind for user to leave it charging unattended.

With multiple runs of charging, I estimated that the battery gives about 1500-1600mah. This translate to a 75%- 80% efficiency. I think this is a very good efficiency for a portable battery and it's already one of the best compared to other brands.

For my typical daily usage, this battery can charge from( having 20% to 30% battery left):
Galaxy Note Edge x 4 times
Nexus 7 x 1 times
LG Optimus F6 x 2 time

So the capacity is enough for most users to go without an electric outlet for 2 or 3 days or more.

Room for improvement:
While this is a great battery, there are two things that i do hope Anker can improve upon in their next generation of this product:
1. Qualcomm fast charge support (both ways). To fully charge this battery, right now it takes 10 hours, this really need to be shortened. Also, if charging device can make use of Qualcomm fast charge it will be a killer feature but of course, the cost will be higher.

2. Better quality carrying case. The current included carrying case looks nice but the material is sub par compared to the quality and finish of the battery itself. While the battery is a premium product, the carrying case is not. I did not take a star off for the carrying case because I think the case is rather a bonus item.

Summary:
Anker Powercore edge battery is of top quality in terms of design and build. Its solid performance and nice design makes it a top choice. If you are looking for a high capacity battery with nice design, this is the battery that i would definitely recommend.

This is an awesome power bank. I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 Active and this power bank has been able to charge my completely dead phone to fully charged 5 times on one charge. Great for camping trips. Plus, it came with a cool little pouch that covers it nicely and makes it look like a small diary. This thing also feels rock solid, btw. A little weighty, but I fully expected that for 20,000 mah. I love this thing and I highly recommend it to anyone that will need to power a phone or any other device a few times without having access to a power source. Added a few pics for comparison to a couple every day items.

You know this battery is a premium device the moment you pick it up due to the high build quality. That's pretty typical of Anker products, in my experience. Their prices aren't the absolute lowest, but their products last a lot longer. I got this battery on sale for $35 though, and that is among the lowest prices out there.

The battery holds a massive amount of juice. It can charge your smartphone about seven times and your tablet a more limited number of times (I haven't tried it out, but by extrapolating the number of phone charges and the battery capacity of the iPhone 6S, I'd estimate that it can charge a normal-sized (8 inches or so) tablet about 3.5 times. I like this battery because it has 2 USB ports, so I can charge the phone of whomever is traveling with me at the same time!

But you need to remember that with a massive battery comes a cost. It weighs enough that you will notice the extra weight in your bag if you commute on foot or if you are walking around as a tourist. That can cause some fatigue to your shoulder, depending on how burly you are or how much pain tolerance you have. :P You will also need to let it charge overnight if you want it full the next day. You shouldn't have to charge it between stays in a hotel, so this shouldn't be an issue.

But in terms of the physical size and dimensions of the battery, it couldn't be better designed given how large the actual battery must be to hold so much power. No space is wasted, and the slim, countered case slides perfectly into the interior pocket of most laptop and messenger bags. And I mean the interior pocket, not the laptop pocket. This thing is SLIM.

Buy this battery. Now.

I got the battery a week ago and I wanted to try it before posting the review, I tested in two divices, but first about the product:

Price: I bought it at discount but I think even at full price is totally worth it.

Shape & size: It's about the size of a small tablet but thicker and very heavy, it fits fine in any backpack, briefcase or large purse, just beware of the weight.

Style: It has a very sleek, cool style and the metal casing feels high quality. It came in a nice cover which I didn't know was included so it was a surprise (there's a picture on Amazon which I didn't see before hand), I think it protects against minor scratches and looks elegant.

Now the important stuff.

Charging devices:
It came with 50% battery charge and I immediately started charging my Galaxy Note 10.1 2014, while playing Fallout Vault for an hour and it manage to charge 25%. Next day I made a better test, at full charge I charged my Galaxy S6 Edge+ (without using it), which was at 5%, and it fully charged it in 30 minutes without losing any battery indicators. Third test, once again charge my S6 (at 45%) while using Pokemon Go and manage to fully charge it in 30 minutes and lost only one battery indicator.

Over all I'm extremely happy so far, so 5 stars.
