Love this slow cooker so much I bought a second one to stash as a back up! The adorable factor is off the charts with this product. The Disney-Pixar character faces are so much fun to see when cooking. Something to keep in mind is this is a very BASIC slow cooker. There are no timers, alarms, or any other do-dads that a lot of the newer slower cookers have. There are four settings: OFF, WARM, LOW and HIGH which can be selected with the very cute red rocket ship knob. There is an instruction manual but again it's very simple, no recipes included. The power cord is on the short side but I believe that is a standard safety measure to prevent it from falling off or being pulled down from counter tops. The unit itself feels very sturdy and well made. I've used it twice since I bought it and it's cooked both meals perfectly and the insert washed up very well. The glass lid fits as it should and created a nice seal while cooking. The signature Pixar ball completes the top lid and just adds another level of detail that Disney does so well. It's well priced and affordable and I would definitely recommend this product to any Disney fan.
UPDATE: 10/3/2016 I use this slow cooker weekly and it has always worked as it should, never any issues with burning food, evaporation or ill fitting lids. When it is in use I am using it mostly for all day cooking, meaning on low for 6-8 hours. There are a few times I've used the high setting for an hour or two to bring meats up to a higher temperature quicker and I've never had a problem. I am still very happy with this purchase. Just a note, I always hand wash the stoneware insert and the lid.

Works well, looks stylishly cute
I was interested in which manufacturer made this slow cooker. The instruction booklet says it is distributed by Select Brands, Inc. of Lenexa, KS. According to their website, Select Brands sells products under its own labels (TRU, Babecakes, and Kitchen Selectives, the Disney and Toastmaster brands and via private labels. This slow cooker is labeled made in China. There is a 1 year warranty by Select Brands, Inc.The base of this slow cooker features Disney characters all the way around. I will include a photo to show the characters on the back. The stoneware insert which actually holds the food is solid black. So, if you cook something in the slow cooker and then take the insert to a potluck, you won’t have to bring the Disney characters with you. They are cute though! The bright colors and squared shapes work really well against the glossy black background.According to the instruction manual, the stonewear insert can be used in conventional, convection and microwave ovens, in the refrigerator and in the dishwasher, without the glass lid. Can be washed by hand or in the dishwasher.This has three settings – WARM, LOW and HIGH. According to the instructions, “The WARM setting should only be used after completely cooking the recipe according to the instructions. The food must be hot enough to prevent bacterial growth before using the WARM setting. Do not use the WARM setting to reheat any food that has been refrigerated or frozen.”Cooking instructions from the booklet: For most slow cooker meat-and-vegetable combo recipes use LOW for recipes calling for an 8-10 hour cooking time and use HIGH for a 4-6 hour cooking time. For recipes that are being adapted for use in a slow cooker, the booklet offers the following rough guidelines:Regular Cooking Time Slow Cooker LOW Slow Cooker HIGH 30 min 6-8 hours 3-4 hours 35-60 min 8-10 hours 5-6 hours 1-3 hours 10-12 hours 7-8 hoursDespite these long cooking times, little attention is needed when set to LOW. Stirring is not necessary, but “if cooking on HIGH, stirring occasionally will help distribute flavors throughout the recipe.” Do make sure you get the right size slow cooker, as the instructions advise that the cooker gives the best results when at least half full.The booklet offers some advice on using a slow cooker, including the following which would influence whether or not a particular recipe is suited for a slow cooker: If the recipe calls for rice or pasta, these “may be cooked separately or added uncooked to recipes no more than 2 hours before serving. If adding uncooked pasta, there should be at least 2 cups of liquid in the pot.” “Recipes for vegetable-type casseroles must contain liquid to prevent scorching on the sides of the cooking pot.” I have found that I can add just enough water to prevent scorching with good results, even if the recipe didn’t call for liquid. “Canned beans may be added directly to any recipe, but dried beans, especially red kidney beans, should be soaked in water (if desired) and boiled first.”Since I just got this, I can’t comment on how reliable it has been, but I will update this review should this slow cooker fail or have problems within the next several years. For now, I’m only giving this 4 stars since it’s made in China and I don’t know how reliable it will be. As far as I can determine, this was only released in 2015. Reliability is very important.
