I am second grade teacher, mom to two year old twins, and a lifelong lover of coloring and coloring books. I came across an opportunity to review this coloring book and I volunteered. When I volunteered to review it I thought that I was going to be reviewing an actual coloring book. When I began to purchase the item it was then that I realized that I wouldn't be reviewing an actual coloring book but a Kindle sample of the coloring book. This is a little strange to me because coloring books are so hands on it's hard to get a real feel for one if you can't actually color in it. I like to feel the quality of the pages and see how they react to the colors. Some coloring books have a cheaper paper with a rough texture, slightly yellowish tinge, and the paper always seems to rip with the slightest pressure. Others have higher quality paper with a smoother texture, bright white color, and more durable pages. I don't know based on the Kindle sample what the paper in this coloring book is like. I also don't know if the pages are perforated so that you can tear them easily if you want to display them. The pictures that I viewed of this circus coloring book had
A LOT of clowns so don't buy it as s gift for someone who has coulrophobia (irrational fear of clowns). I believe the asking price for the paperback version of this coloring book is just over six dollars. I would not pay that much for this coloring book. It has a few cute pictures but nothing worth that much money. I think that it is a random collection of circusy pictures put into a book. The coloring books that I prefer have some sort of story or style that is maintained throughout the entire book and this coloring book does not have that kind of structure based on the sample that I previewed. I took screenshots of every page included in the Kindle sample. I think they kinda speak for themselves. I was given the Kindle edition for free (it is available to everyone for free) in return for my honest and unbiased review.

I downloaded this kindle coloring book sample “Circus coloring book: Coloring Books for Kids” by Speedy Publishing. This is just a preview of what the actual paperback coloring book will look like. You cannot color in this kindle book. That being said; the pictures are very nice for coloring. I feel it is geared towards a wide span of ages 6 and up but certainly younger children would enjoy it too. It is just that some of the pictures will take a little more fine motor skills to color in but then there are a few that are simpler. The book is mainly clowns, two to a page. They have a few other pictures of lion tamers and juggling dogs but basically its clowns, so your child would really have to be into them.
It would be nice to take along with you to keep your child entertained while running errands or sitting in waiting rooms. With a small box of crayons or colored pencils and this book you might fend off tantrums and boredom. They put out a few different styles so having a couple coloring books to choose from so they do not get bored just coloring one type of thing.
Speedy Publishing have really done a great job of writing engaging, fun books for toddlers and young school age children. This book is not educational in any way but will help teach fine motor skills and an appreciation for art. They put out a few different coloring books geared for a wide span of ages. From simple straightforward dolphins for very young children to Dragons with many details for those more advanced.
