FTDI. Hex nuts. Perfect.
FTDI chip, and nuts instead of screws, which is more correct for a DTE device like this (ie: same as a legacy port on the back of a pc). Means you can screw a modem or null-modem cable to the adapter and make a clean cable that doesn't fall apart. And of course the FTDI chip is more robust than Prolific. This is the ideal usb-serial adapter.
