Great guitar although you probably want to invest in the PRS locking tuners and replace the cheap plastic nut. I had mine reset to standard tuning but it plays great and I love the thinner neck and the matte finish on the back of the neck. You can get a great variety of sounds either as humbuckers or pull the knob to get single coil sound. Price was competitive.

Hands down the best value at the price point. I own two of this model. I practice every day and play one or two gigs per month.

The first thing I notice about PRS guitars is that they are well crafted. The frets are always smooth with no sharp barbs, they well seated and in the neck. Everything feels great in my hands.

Tuning is easy, I keep two on hand because we tune to D tuning for some songs. I put a slightly fatter set of strings on that one, but once you wind up and tighten everything it stays in tune. The band usually plays four or five songs between tuning breaks, there are time I can go through a dozen songs before needing a tune up.

Electronics, excellent pickups, add coil tapping is really the magic of this rig. You can dial in any tone you want. Perfect for cover bands that play a variety of music.

I am not sure about “ Thickness or Sheerness “ Any way the Satin neck is fast and comfortable, Thicker near the nut
Thins out as you ascend towards the body . The fixed bridge is a plus as it is comfortable and smooth. Each saddle has its own adjustment for set up & intonation. If you Palm mute at all and want a comfortable bridge, or want a guitar that can handle any drop tuning here it is . It can be used for any genre of music. WOW , I have not been compensated for this & am not an affiliate. It’s a great electric guitar!
