To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Customers appreciate the guitar's playability and sound quality. They find the frets smooth and the guitar plays well with no problems. The sound has a flappy, slightly varied tone that is worth adding to their collection.

I was hesitant to order a guitar through amazon but it came in perfect condition. The guitar itself plays and sounds great. My only issue is that there are some lines under the paint job where it looks like the wood may be cracking underneath. Not sure if that’s a fender issue or a amazon storage issue. Either way still a great buy especially for the money. The guitar is also extremely light weight and has that classic fender flappy sound but with a slight tonal variation which makes it worth adding to the collection. Plus I personally love the fender short scales.
Wow what a great guitar what a sleeper The fit and finish were beautiful . The maple neck was smooth and almost no finish so it really rips. The neck carve is better than my American standard . No fret snag.... The slightly shorter scale makes every note accessible and The sound is somewhere in Telecaster territory but it ris ally has its own voice. Much more sustain than my Tele and with 10's notes are clear and harmonically rich. One of the most fun guitars to play in my "too many " guitar collection.
Great guitar. Nice balance with classic Fender tone and overall vibe. Think of it as a simpler version of a Stratocaster with two pickups a three-position switch. Simple is good! The Duo Sonic has a slightly smaller scale, but you really don't notice much it unless you're a shredder who spends a lot of time past the 14th fret or you have really big "man hands." The Capri Orange is a big attention getter. You'll definitely be the most noticed band member in the stage.
