Bought this for a night race and it worked beautifully! Perfect amount of light, didn't move around at all during the (13.1mile) race and easily lasted the whole time. Well adjustable band for the head and the light angle is adjustable as well. This definitely fit the bill. I dont have much to compare it to as its my first headlamp, but I'm OK if this is my last.

It's excellently bright, even just on the second setting. It's more than sufficient for shop work, under the car, in an attic with no light etc. The band is more comfortable than others I've used. Granted, I'm going from the $12 energizer headlamps, to this one, but I have zero discomfort after wearing it for 5 hours straight. I bought a second. Comes with OEM Duracell AAA sized batteries. I did order the Petzl rechargeable pack, because it will absolutely pay for itself. Haven't received that rechargeable yet, but if it follows the quality of everything else Petzl, it will be great.

Note: some headlamps have more of a spotlight focus on high, whereas this model uses a more spread focus. Your tastes may vary in what you like in that respect. I like both, but I'm totally OK with this one using a more spread than spot focus on high. I have not yet used up a set of batteries, so I can't comment on battery life. Nor have I owned the headlamp long enough to comment on reliability.

Originalmente pedí este producto en color negro pero por error me llegó en azul, cosa que me alegro porque me gusta mucho más.
Usado durante 4 días en una experiencia de supervivencia cumplió perfectamente.
En el nivel de iluminación mínima permite realizar tareas próximas como fijar el tarp, la hamaca, el saco, colocar piquetas, realizar nudos... Ofrece una autonomía espectacular con unos 2 metros de alcance.
El segundo nivel de potencia aumenta considerablemente el brillo, permitiendo desplazamiento en busca de recursos como leña, agua...
El tercer nivel no aumenta el brillo en la misma proporción que en el caso anterior pero amplía considerablemente el campo de visión.
Los materiales y acabados son muy correctos. Muy útil la posibilidad de fijar la orientación en varias inclinaciones para trabajos manuales a corta distancia. Ligero y de ajuste cómodo.
Sería interesante la posibilidad de bloquear el pulsador para evitar encendidos accidentales sin necesidad de estraer una pila.
Recomendado. No es necesario comprar un modelo superior.
