Works well, charges well and has a nice, long cord with a nice cord tie

Works very well, has some charging technology that I am very familiar with (and like a lot) and clears up a lot of clutter from where my smart hub and router is located.

This works well as an extension cable that you can turn on and off the 3 prong plugs. I've had no use to do so and therefore cannot comment on the efficacy of such functionality but I can tell you that the USB ports charge well using the "SmartID" technology that they have in their other chargers and such. They are enough to power a Raspberry Pie 2 and 3 as well as an Amazon Echo Dot. It charges my wife and daughter's iPad minis quickly and provides enough ports for my house of 5.

I never realized how expensive these were (in general, not just talking about this one) until I needed more but this one is absolutely worth it! I really like it and my wife appreciates the lack of clutter that was previously there.

If you have a lot of technology and a good number of people in your house,. I would recommend checking this out.

Wonderful Little Power Strip

I've become a fan of little power strips like this. We keep one tucked in a corner of the kitchen. It makes it extremely easy to keep a few short charging cables handy for phones and tablets. It works perfectly well and even looks good.

One thing I appreciate about this particular strip is that the SmartID technology actually does work well. It will rapidly charge phones that are optimized for that while charging other phones at their normal capacity.

Another thing I appreciate about this particular strip is the two grounded three-prong outlets in addition to the four USB-A outlets. That makes this great for travel.

Note, it has a power button, so you have to make sure it is on before you can use it.

I am extremely pleased with this little guy.

Iffy Quality control, but awesome customer service....

Edit: I was contacted via email by the company within a couple of days of posting this review. Despite the fact that I had already chunked the original unit, they sent me a replacement free of charge, which I was able to test out once I returned back home. I can report that the replacement unit appears to be working just fine. After reading some other reviews, I suspect the power button was faulty on mine. I can say I am very impressed with their customer service here, and that alone may lead me to trying more of their products in the future.

Bought this for a cruise, opened it in the hotel where we were staying the night before departure, and it was a brick. Neither the outlets nor the USB ports worked. Would have loved to return it, but in this circumstance it went in the trash because I couldn't spare the space to haul it around to get it back home. It seemed like a nice enough design ( though not as compact as you'd hope- very thick/stiff power cord which isn't detachable), but to have a defective unit leave the line to be shipped is poor quality control, so I'd recommend steering clear and finding another option.

Not Cheap Junk!

This surge protector/power strip is the real deal! There's nothing cheap about it. The cord feels strong, the plug-in unit is solid, and it works perfectly. I've charged an IPad mini 3, a Galaxy S7, and a blue tooth speaker and they all charged in good time and the unit didn't get hot at all. There's a velcro strap on the cord if you want to keep it shorter. There is also a power button on the top so you can shut it off if you wish. The power button is a little tough to get down sometimes, but not too bad. Anyway, I use this daily and I do recommend it!

This would be a five star product if the cord weren't so bulky and stiff. The IClever itself does its job well. It handles having multiple things plugged into it beautifully. The cord is a problem. I got this to put in a small area on my desk and to travel with. The footprint is compact and fits perfectly. Unfortunately the cord is so unwieldy that it pushes the IClever around, actually lifting it off the desk at times. The bulky cord also makes traveling with it difficult. It is frustrating because otherwise this is a great product.

Great For Travelers or Stay-At-Homes With Multiple Devices

We took this on a trip and the four USB ports were very helpful since the two of us had multiple devices that we wanted to keep charged. It does saves having to pack the individual chargers and things plugged into outlets near the floor or under the desk. It was also useful at the airport when we used only one of the charging station outlets but topped off all of our devices. It is a little bulky to carry in a computer bag but it is better than lugging a standard surge protector. If you are a road warrior and work extensively in your hotel room or in a temporary work place it is a convenient thing to have. It is useful around the house when folks come over and they all need to charge their devices.

the pretty little white iclever

If you are going to buy One, but two! I did that 'cause I had use for two, but when I plugged the 1st one into my wall outlet. It blew the GFI breaker, instantly killing all power outlets on that strip. At the same time, the pretty little white iclever, went pop, and that was the last she said. I tried the second one on a protected power strip in case it did the same thing, and it works beautifully, handy too. I tried out the 1st iclever on the power strip, its dead as a doornail or a bird caught within a round a buckshot, toast.
Overall, handy, but quite unpredictable. Another fantastic product made in china!. Says so on the box: "Made in China". What else does one expect? You expect good, but you get something that goes puff on the first use.

I bought this item because I was impressed by the high joule rating, and that the fast chargers could be switched on and off with the press of a button. The unit I received malfunctioned after a couple weeks...the on\off button stuck at the on position and wouldn't come off. That left the green charging power indicator lights on all the time. I contacted the seller, and after they made inquiries to verify the problem, they rush shipped me a replacement at no cost. I've had no problems with the replacement and must say I was really amazed at the professionalism of the seller. I would buy again with confidence.
