How to clean makeup brushes?

6 steps to clean makeup brushes:
1.Run the bristles under lukewarm water. Don't use hot water,
as the heat may damage the bristles.
2.Pour some baby shampoo to the water. Add 1 teaspoon of baby
shampoo into the cup and still gently to combine.If you do not have baby shampoo, use liquid Castile soap instead.
3.Dip the brush into the mixture and swirl. Only the bottom half
of your brushes' bristles should be swirled in the mixture to
avoid water traveling up the handle.
4. Rinse the bristles under lukewarm water.
5. Pat the bristles dry, then reshape them.
6. Let the brush air dry, then fluff it with your fingers.

Great brush set and great price.

The set my mom wanted for Christmas was out of stock so I went looking for something similar. This set was better than on-par. They show up with a note about how they will be a little "stinky" from manufacturing and that is quite true. While the packaging looks cheap and clearly comes from China this is quite the nice brush set. It included everything my mom wanted to try and all her usual brushes. A quick wash and the smell was gone and ready for use. The only challenge is finding the right storage container for them as some of the brushes are long...though I'm not sure if that's a brush complaint or a container complaint.

10/10 would recommend. I've worked at the Estée Lauder counter and used several high end brand brushes. I would definitely say these are comparable to high end brushes. The handles are nice, but don't feel as fancy as expensive brushes. But the brush itself is soft and feels just as good as the pricier brands. The set comes with a wide variety. I bought this set and another set that included a fan brush. They both has a strange smell, like they'd been sitting in plastic, but after a quick wash the smell was 100% gone. You should always wash brushes before he first use so this wasn't an issue for me. Also, you'll really notice the good quality while washing. Out of 28 brushes (I bought 2 sets) 1, I repeat, 1 hair fell out. I have pricier Bare Minerals brushes that constantly shed from day one until now after several washes. I gave them a pretty aggressive wash and the brush and handle feel very sturdy and well made. Definitely give these a try if you hate spending a ton of money but want good quality brushes.

I love this makeup brush set!!!! I will definitely be back to get another set! Definitely worth the buy. This is my first actual makeup brush set and I am obsessed. I have always wanted to but a set,but I did not want to have to pay an arm and a leg,for a set. Just for a namebrand. I have used a few of the brushes in this set already and I love it. I can't wait to use them all. They even come with a guide telling you which one is for what. Which I found that extremely helpful. They are wicked soft. I had washed mine before I used them. They had a plastic smell from them (I am assuming from production and the bag) which is normal. No biggie here!!! I let mine sit in a warm water and baby wash solution. They no longer have the plastic smell from them. Even after I washed them,they were still amazingly soft. If you're looking for a set that doesn't have to cost you your paycheck,you've found it!!! When I got some washing them and rinsing them,none of the bristles fell off. Even the small one,none of the bristles came off! I love my set. Thank you BS-MALL!!!

I am a make up brush fanatic! I own sigma and sephora and it cosmetic brushes as well as elf and real techniques. I love quality not brand labels. This is one of the best make up brush sets I own. There are lots of thick soft hairs in the brush that help to create a smooth flawless looking finish. The handle and ferrule are made of nice materials and lend the brushes the perfect balance of weight right where you need it.

I bought these a while ago and have been using them quite often. These are decent brushes for the $10 price! I’d buy the set again just for the foundation and blush brush alone. The foundation brush has been great and I couldn’t find one single brush for less than $10, so I was pumped to try a full set that included it. I really think this is a fine set of brushes and I don’t regret getting them. There is obviously a difference between a $150 brush set and a $10 brush set but these are phenomenal compared to other $10 sets you’d find in stores. They are soft, keep well, and don’t feel cheap. These look legit and they get the job done.

For the negatives: They don’t clean super easily and I find that if you don’t clean them after each time religiously, you might end up with a streakier application. (This just forces me to be better about cleaning them tbh.) For other relatively inexpensive brushes, my real techniques and elf brushes clean in half the time and don’t eat as much product as these do. There are some bristle fly-aways but nothing that will sacrifice your look.

Overall, I think these are great for the price and I’m happy I got them. The few downsides do not outweigh the positives.

My brush set was delivered quickly! I was so excited to hear my doorbell ring today! The quality of the product is absolutely satisfactory. My only issue was the fact that the seal was broken on the package that they arrived in, but I do plan to wash them before using them anyway, so that’s of Little concern to me, personally. The face brushes are full and very thick, which is the way I prefer mine to be. Blending brushes are full, yet flexible, and that’s exactly what I look for when purchasing in store products. Eye detail brushes are a bit stiff, but not in a negative way, and may relax after a wash. The brushes themselves (the handles) are very light weight, which is going to be a matter of personal preference when it comes down to it. I did notice a certain smell when I opened the package, but there was a card insert that said to expect it due to being packaged in plastic. The card advises cleaning the brushes pre-use. The brushes fit into my my standard leather brush slip case. I am extremely happy with the condition of the brushes. I have yet to use them, which is why I’ve rated minus one star, I plan to update my rating after washing and using them! I plan to make more purchases from this line! Very very excited to play!
