"A MUST READ for all those who like thrillers with the added X-factor!" ~ Paul @ E-Thriller (e-thriller.com)
"Veil of Civility is a non-stop action ride that grabs the reader, not letting go. Declan McIver is up there with Gabriel Allon and Mitch Rapp as a prime examples of the political thriller genre!" ~ Tammy @ Rabid Readers (rabidreaders.com)
"The plotting is sumptuous as Graham weaves a trail of deceit and duplicity to drive the novel forward with a steadily increasing pace. 'Veil of Civility' is cleverly thought out and utterly plausible." ~ Graham @ Crimesquad (crimesquad.com)
"If you love stories with a mix of history and conspiracy, you definitely want to read Veil of Civility!" ~ Ellen @ In Our Spare Time (in-our-spare-time.com)

Graham knows how to write a well-paced, thrilling novel and the character of Declan MacIver is at the core of his appeal. A former IRA terrorist reminiscent of Higgins' Sean Dillon, his portrayal brings with it a certain nuance not often found in the genre.
A man of two worlds, the American and the Irish, the family man and the former terrorist, the complex dichotomy of Declan's character is probably best summed up by an exchange in which a skeptical British intelligence officer asks him if his mechanical expertise was "learned building bombs in Belfast."
Declan's reply? "No, fixing garage doors in America."
For those wondering if he could follow up the success of "Veil of Civility," Graham delivers a tense, suspenseful thriller which ends with the promise of much, much more to come.
Highly recommended. 5 stars.
The really great thing is that there will be more in this gripping series. I have become entranced with Declan McLiver and his adventures and I feel anyone reading these will fall under his spell also, so if you are reading this, please purchase all 4 of the existing stories to prompt Author Ian Graham to get the next one completed and released...
Ian Graham does a nice job with the action on both fronts. I hope he doesn't take too long to write the next one.
complex book, well thought out, enough action to keep people happy and no editing problems.
leaves plenty of room for a follow up, but u will have to wait several years - ian takes his time in putting a well developed plot together
