CliniCloud is an award-winning connected medical kit designed for the home. Now you can closely monitor every fever, chill, cough, wheeze, or cold. The kit contains a non-contact thermometer, a digital stethoscope, and iOS / Android app that helps you get a medical checkup from home.
The CliniCloud Thermometer takes temperature readings quickly (2 seconds) and effortlessly - no skin contact required (up to 2 inches away). This means you can take accurate readings (+/- 0.4°F), even without waking little ones when they’re asleep. Our thermometer performs to the highest accuracy and safety standards set by the FDA.
The CliniCloud Stethoscope is a world first, designed for the general population. It records high fidelity audio so you can record any suspicious cough, wheeze, heart or respiratory concern and send it to a professional for immediate evaluation. If you’ve never used a stethoscope the app shows you how to.
Save all recordings on the app and/or in the cloud. Data can be viewed in a timeline or on graphs.
Create profiles for each family member. Permission settings can be toggled to share dependents' health data with other caregivers.
Easily share recordings via email or text. Useful for fevers, coughs, colds or wheezing. Telemedicine services available for on demand medical checkups.

How did you come up with the idea for this product?
As physicians, the thermometer and stethoscope are our two most trusted tools. We wanted to put them in the hands of consumers, along with an intuitive app, so they can easily track a fever, a cough, or perform a health checkup at home when sick.
What makes your product special?
The CliniCloud Medical Kit is the first product of its kind to help people get convenient and easy answers when they are sick. The thermometer and stethoscope are FDA cleared and CE marked medical devices, while the app guides users on how to use these tools and interpret the readings. It also allows easy sharing by text or email with physicians. You can even get an on demand check up from a physician from one of our telemedicine partners, such as Doctor On Demand.
What has been the best part of your startup experience?
Hon and Andrew met while in medical school. In 2012, they invented the world’s first stethoscope that can connect to a smartphone and won Microsoft’s Imagine Cup grant. In 2014, CliniCloud was founded in Melbourne, Australia, with a mission to bring healthcare into the home. Since that time, we’ve built a brilliant team and successfully navigated HIPAA, regulatory certifications, manufacturing, and much more. The best part of this journey has been seeing the product come to life from a garage project to a certified medical product.
