I was looking for a more sustainable yoga mat and ordered the Lotus Life Jute Mat.

The mat feels great - not too thin but still gives enough stability under the foot! I'm also happy with the level of anti-slip - even if the description says it is not 100% anti-slip.

Last but not least: the people behind this yoga mat are awesome! There was a small problem with the mat I first received and the customer service was very quick, helpful and super nice!

I definitely recommend this mat.

This mat is fantastic, it is little heavy but well worth the weight for how nice and thick it is. It's also very pretty and not like any other mat I have seen, it's also got good footing and I felt very comfortable doing advanced moves. I let it air out for two days and used it last night for my yoga class and did not notice much of a rubber smell. I can't wait to use it again tonight in my class.
For the amount of yoga I do I'm glad I splurged and treated myself to this mat!

I am really enjoying this mat! I’ve had a really cheap and flimsy one for years and i finally had enough of it. I was looking for one that is thick and sturdy and this one is perfect! it has a memory foam like padding that is really good for your knees, it doesn't get slippery and the color is nice. It does have a sort of weird texture on top but i think it just helps with its grippiness.

This is a great product. It feels to me exactly how I feel like a yoga mat should, and it's reversible so if you don't like the feel of the jute the other side feels basically like a normal yoga mat. The great thing is it's also all-natural which was one of the main selling points for me. But that doesn't come at the cost of quality as I feel like this mat is actually of a really great quality and will serve me with my needs for a long time.

I bought this looking for an eco friendly yoga mat. The fibrous side is more sticky than the other side but is very hard to get used to. The other side a slip too much. The most annoying thing is that the pressure on the mat in different poses causes decompression in the mat and then it is very uncomfortable. It says it is 8mm but it does not feel like it. I have already purchased a replacement Heathyoga mat that I had before and liked quite a bit. I do not recommend this mat.
