Truth be told, I didn't buy this for the actual sauce. I just wanted the skull so I could fill it with my own favorite hot sauces.

The sauce is quite tasty, but it's VERY hot. I'm someone who normally likes very hot hot sauces, but I made a batch of wings with this sauce and they were too painful for my guests to eat. In terms of the scoville unit I'd compare it to some of the 100% ghost pepper hot sauces I've tried. It's too bad, because the sauce really does have a very unique flavor with an interesting sweetness to it. But, if you like super spicy hot sauces this will be right up your alley. The glass skull is very nice quality and I'm sure I'll keep refilling it with my sauces for years to come.

Was a little hesitant to order, due to the mixed reviews as to how hot it is! Maybe it isn't consistent batch to batch, but my brother is a true pepper-head and he said it "lit" him up!!!! He LOVES it! Therefore, I stand on the side of those who have attested to the heat of this sauce! Will order again; not for ME though! I'm definitely not up for this kind of heat! If you're looking for HOT, this is for you!

OMG.....this sauce is perfect for cooking! It's a little ripe for general use but it brings a great flavor and manageable heat to any recipe. Add that to the fact it has the coolest bottle on the market and you will look forward to using it on a regular basis just to empty the bottle. Great gift!
