I haven't picked up a guitar to play in many years, this guitar is very easy to play and the Mahogany solid top and sides are a pleasure to look at. The sound is very vibrant and crisp .It is acoustic / electric. I always wanted this type of guitar, and I am very pleased with it over all. I just bought a Fender 100 Acoustic amp , awesome sounds. Within a month I have several songs al most down pat, really don't think I will ever be a pro, but I' am really having fun playing it a few hours a day. The hard case is a perfect fit , with a flip open compartment to store my capo, strap, and picks .

Guitar is excellent. Bought for 16 year old who plays it a ton. Sounds great and seems to be comfortable/easy to use.
The only negative was that the case arrived locked. Where were the keys? Inside the case. Fortunately a bobby pin was all that was needed to pick the lock. Locks on case are not great and it locks itself very easily so keep the keys/bobby pin nearby.

I bought one that needed some fret/setup work; i have a tech shop so easy for me to do; believe a new one that 's set up well at seller's stone would be find for most players. Feels and looks good; but in not a taylor/martin/godin quality.

I really wanted to like this guitar because it is virtually the only one in the marketplace with a non-classical neck on a nylon string guitar. I have several classical guitars, and although they are wonderful, for contemporary music and rock, they are not ideal. So, I started to investigate other nylon string options.

I have been playing guitar for 35 years, and I have many guitars of all kind - from super expensive electrics and acoustics to lesser-priced Epiphones. I am a firm believer that players can find inexpensive gems and overpriced cheapos. For $399, I did not expect a $4k Gibson, but this one is bad. Fender should be ashamed to have their name on this guitar.

Upon opening the box, the "hardshell" case is a joke; binding was coming unglued, and the latches did not line up. I honestly think the case is a more like a black chipboard case than a legitimate hardshell. Then I opened the case.

The guitar is attractive and has a nice wood finish, but all positive aspects end there. From the prodigious use of plastic (it looked like the nut AND the bridge were plastic) to the unfinished, sharp frets, the fit and finish of this instrument is a joke. The frets at the sound hole are actually cut so poorly that they are jagged and can cut fingers.

I played this guitar for five minutes before deciding to return it. I first tuned it, played for a few minutes and had to tune it again; it went out of tune VERY fast. Delivered with a dead battery, I replaced it with a fresh battery and tried the on-board tuner. Although inexact, it worked to get the guitar back into the realm of play-ability. I played for a few more minutes before it started to go out of tune again. The fretboard feels cheap... it just had to go back.

Finally, when the guitar moves or is carried, the electrical cables in the body slap against the cedar top. BAD - why were these not secured under the bridge.

Many thanks to Amazon for accepting a quick return on this item.

This is a very nice light classical guitar. It incorporates the Fender neck with the classical nylon string sound. Only one problem the 1st. string on the 10th fret does not play, as you get only a blunt sound. This may be fixed with only a new string, but a new guitar should have new strings.

My son and I spent a couple of hours in a nearby Guitar Center trying out a wide range of acoustic guitars. Neither of us are experts, but this model stood out to us as having a very warm, rich, and deep tone--many of the others were bright and thin in comparison, even ones with prices in the thousands. Of course, Guitar Center had only the display model, was considerably more expensive, and couldn't get a new one for a couple of weeks, so we opted to go the Amazon route and have been very pleased with it. It looks and sounds excellent.

Vielen Dank an zoundhouse dresden. Händler absolut empfehlenswert.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great buy, very satisfied... but beware of the battery!

I was very excited to unbox my first solid top guitar and I wasn't disappointed. Excellent sound quality from the solid top and Fishman pickup - I'm VERY satisfied with this buy!
A word of caution to all first-timers, though: solid tips are much more sensitive to temperature changes, so be prepared to retune much more often and also to adjust your truss rod more frequently as the season changes from warm to cool or the other way round. Of course, this doesn't imply anything negative about Fender quality, which I consider unimpeachable!
    ...
Another thing: the 9V battery I got with the guitar was old. I mean, really OLD. It had leaked badly inside the packing, which was fortunately good so nothing had come out of it. See the pics. I wish Amazon would check limited-shelf-life things like batteries before despatching products!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great classical sound
Reviewed in Canada on January 6, 2019
This guitar makes it easy for young and senior hands to play a classical guitar. It sounds great amplified with the on-board electronics, too. The price was most reasonable and it included a nice hard case.
