Bought oil described as " Valvoline - 774038 Premium Blue Extreme SAE 5W-40 Full Synthetic Engine Oil 1 GA, Case of 3" for ~ $45.00 plus tax. Only received 1 gallon. When inquired about missing 2 gallons was told listing was incorrect, but my tough luck as I should have known I'd only get 1 gallon for $45.00.

Botton line is oil is ok, but not for anywhere near this price. Incredibly dishonest. To return it I have to pay return shipping and 20% restocking. Can't begin to describe how upset I am by this underhanded selling practice.

Oil wasn't sealed properly

Gentlemen, and ladies.
The oil itself is of good quality, and endorsed by Cummins so there is that. However, The product I received wasn't even sealed. It was likely the manufacturer causing the problem. You have a sealed CAP, that has to be broken, like a coke bottle, and then there is the white foil topper underneath. That white paper/foil was incorrectly installed. It was off center, by a couple centimeters, I am not writing a terrible review, however the QC needs to be addressed. it leaked a little bit underneath the cap, very slight amount, and none leaked into the packaging.

Buyer: If you notice this, and there isnt a issue with the oil, use it like I did, still looked good and everything.

SELLER: Please ensure that the Quality Control is addressed, which let us face it, you wont do that, you'll continue on and try to bury this review.

I buy this oil for my hotshot trucks with the Cummins engine. It’s been really good. I have one at a 170,000 miles and one at 60,000 miles and one I sold with 220,000 miles. All three have always had their oil changed with Valvoline Premium Blue. And it’s much cheaper on amazon. As much of this oil as I go through the savings add up fast. I would recommend to anyone with a Cummins engine.

Gave this a try when the first oil change was needed on my 2018 RAM 2500 with the Cummins diesel engine. Value seems good considering the engine requires 3 gallons of oil per oil change. Time will tell if this is worth continuing to use. I noticed no difference in the way the engine starts or sounds, and my fuel economy hasn't changed - though I didn't expect it to. I let the factory oil stay in the engine until 11,500 miles and it was very dirty. I may change this oil after 7500 so it doesn't get that bad. Will update my review if something changes.

Great oil for Ford 6.0

Used this in my 2005 Excursion 6.0, starting about 10k miles ago. I most definitely recommend it! Truck runs smoother in warm weather and now that it’s cold barely any injector stiction...oil temp was 29, coolant 28 and started with barely a rumble, absolutely smooth after only 1-2 seconds. With Ford Diesel 10w-30 it would stumble for about 5-10 seconds any time oil temp was below 50 at startup...and with oil temp of 11 absolutely would not start until after block heater was plugged in for about an hour. I haven’t had this oil that cold yet but so far I am a believer in it!
