Bought this to replace a Samsung sound bar with a wireless subwoofer, since for whatever reason the subwoofer stopped working, leaving me with a hollow-sounding soundbar that had absolutely no punch to it whatsoever. Not only did the ATS-1060-R fill that quota, but it surpassed it by a long shot. It has a full range of sounds that the Samsung SHOULD have had from the get-go. The built-in subwoofers really pack a punch for being smaller than the Samsung's standalone subwoofer, and honestly surpass it. The only real thing the Samsung had over this one is a far superior remote. But since you can install Yamaha's Home Theater Controller app onto your smartphone or tablet, that point is essentially moot anyways. The app is even more intuitive than a standard remote, so there's no worries there.
Don't let the factory refurbished part scare you either. The only thing that's different is the box it comes in, being a standard white shipping box instead of an original one. All of the same supplies that would come packed with a brand new soundbar are included here, so you won't need to order any extra cords or have to hunt down a manual. You also get the same 1-year warranty included with a brand new soundbar, so it's really the same thing but cheaper.
All in all, this is a bargain for a quality Yamaha soundbar. I definitely recommend to stick with Yamaha audio products and to never buy any from Samsung. You'll be thankful in the long run.
