3 dogs using...it's GREAT

I'm giving VetPro to 3 dogs. One is a 15 year old male. He weighs about 55#. He is very crippled with arthritis, but since he takes VetPro he seems to move better and smiles and wags his tail stronger. We call him The Sheriff. Our second dog is over 100#, 10 years old, and over weight. Since taking VetPro he's acting like a 5 year old, going out to pastures to check on cattle with me. Before VetPro he just laid on his bed all day. Our 3rd is a 2 year old high energy female. She would be very active with are without VetPro. I'm giving her VetPro just as a preventive and so she does not feel left out of getting a treat. VetPro seems to be working very well for my dogs and I will continue to use VetPro
On the negative side, the container contains lots of small bits and pieces. Every container is like this. It would be better if the bone shapes were complete.

Greta Louise is 14 years old and about 75 lbs. She's a true Heinz 57 but is mostly Staffordshire and lab. Her hips are her only medical problem so she's on gabapentin, galliprant, and xanax for some anxiety.
We started this 3 weeks ago and if the prize is right, she gallops to you like a big awkward, hungry horse. She actually looks like she feels better! This is a huge improvement and this treat is the only change we've made. She galloped after my wife for a piece of cheese in laps around the yard. She hasn't run (with carefree glee) in a long time.
She loves the treats! These first 4 weeks, she'll get 3, twice a day: 3 in the AM and 3 in the PM. We'll move her down in dosage starting next week. I feel much better knowing that at least for now, our old Dame is feeling pretty good.

I started buying this brand because the brand I was buying that worked was becoming hard to find so the price skyrocketed, plus my dog was not a fan of the taste. My 12 y/o German Shepard with a bad back eats these with little problem (I put them on top of her wet food so she picks it up in a chomp). It has similar ingredients as the other product I was using. They consistently smell good (the other product had consistency issues with each order - this brand is always good per batch and from start to finish). The only problem, which someone else also stated, is at the bottom of the can you get an assortment of broken bone bits so I have to add up how many bits equal a piece. There are maybe a dozen broken in a can of 120. By package directions, my dog is supposed to take 3 but I give her 2/day which equals the ingredients and dose of the other brand the vet prescribed. This is a great product - consistent quality, reasonable price, works.

I’ve tried many glucosamine treats for our old gal Star. She’s a black lab. She’s 11 and she thinks she’s still 3. She also suffers from EIC, so she has never acted her age. I stopped giving her glucosamine a while back because the side effects to her bowels were just awful.
Without it she started stumbling when going up and down stairs, we had to help her jump into the truck, and had to pick her up to get her out, because otherwise, she’s just hit the ground. She even had trouble just standing up off the floor after a nap. I was worried her time had come.
This glucosamine treat changed all that. We give it to her twice a day. She eats them like a treat. After a weekend a half, she’s SO much better. This is the first glucosamine supplement we’ve tried that didn’t upset her digestive system.
I‘ll definitely be ordering more!

I can't speak for my dogs as to pain relief, all I know is they gobble these treats up! We are nearly done with our third bottle and after researching other products, I will continue to purchase this. My dogs are 8 and 6, both 65 pounds, no history of medical issues so this is just a preventative measure for them. What sticks out to me is the ingredients, having the typical joint supplements along with tumeric and omega 3s and 6s is very important to me. The smell is strong, but my doggos are all about it. I like the softness of it, as opposed to a pill or chalk tablet. I saw other comments regarding broken bone pieces, but in my experience I have only had maybe 3 or 4 half bones out of 240 total. I think that may be a delivery problem, not a packaging issue. The chews can get stuck together but a gentle shake of the bottle helps get them loosened. Overall I would recommend this to anyone wanting to add a joint supplement to their dog's diet.

I have a 26 pound Jackabee who is pretty old (he's around 12). He has had lower back problems in the past as some beagles do so I wanted to immediately get him on a glucosamine supplement. Lots of glucosamine treats and food do not have enough mg in my opinion. This is two treats for 1,000mg, which I believe is a good supplement. He hasn't had his back troubles and doesn't act that stiff for a dog of his age, granted he is in between a small and medium stature. He also seems to love the taste of these. I add it to his morning and night food and he gobbles up the supplement first. I've repurchased this about three times and will continue to repurchase. I definitely would recommend this brand.

Has everything in it that is good for dogs, except it made my dog sick.

After reviewing different joint support treats for dogs, this one was the most complete.
However, my dog did NOT LIKE THE TASTE at ALL. Actually ran away when I tried to give it to him. I hid it in his normal everyday food and he became extremely ill. Vomited and diarrhea for 2 days after giving him just 2 treats. The smell of these is sort of "fish like". Hopefully for other dogs it works but it was not pleasant for my dog.
