    This is the perfect carry-on suitcase. I put my backpack on it so didn't have to carry anything, but could put the backpack under the seat and the suitcase in the overhead. It's small enough to handle easily, but plenty large enough for what I need. Rolls so easily, doesn't fall over like my old one, very sturdy and a beautiful vibrant color. Yes, it would be nice to have a matched set but I only needed this one and it was a great price for a great suitcase.

    The night before a flight I realized we’d tossed our old suitcase and we urgently needed one before our 7pm flight the following evening. This was the only one that would come in time and let me say I’ve never been more pleasantly surprised! This is a really, really nice suitcase. Excellent quality, very light weight, and the perfect size for a checked bag (I got the medium 26”). I certainly wouldn’t have chosen the color (pink) if I’d had more time - it was the only one with next day delivery - but it’s actually quite nice and very easy to spot which was helpful, so I’m glad I ended up with it.

    This is obviously our first experience with it, but it’s worth noting that the suitcase came out of the conveyer belt thing looking as new as it did when we checked it in for our cross country flight (and I highly doubt the airline handled with care), so I’d say it has great scratch resistance. I’m really happy and excited to say that this was money well spent and I highly recommend!

    I purchased this BRIGHT orange Amazon Basics hard-shell rolling suitcase for my recent trip to Japan. I was looking for something that would really stand out on the luggage carousel, and sure enough, mine was the only orange suitcase I saw on two runs through Honolulu and two runs through Haneda, or anywhere else during the entire trip for that matter.

    The wheels rolled over both smooth and rough surfaces equally well, and the collapsible handle proved to be strong and easy to deploy and stow. The textured surface is a particularly nice feature. It prevents the casing from showing any scratches, and makes the bag much easier to grip when you need to pick it up by the body instead of the handles.

    The only improvement I would like to see is in the quality of the zippers. In my humble opinion they're a little too light-duty for such a large bag. The zipper did split open on one occasion, which can often be the death of a zipper, but thankfully I was able to carefully work it backwards past the split and get it going again. Fingers crossed that it holds up over time. If it fails again, I will revise this review and let you know.

    If you're looking for advanced features such as heavy duty, TSA compatible locking zippers and fancy interior features, then you'll need to spend more money on a fancier suitcase. (I ponied-up an extra $15.00 for a Samsonite heavy duty TSA compatible combination lock strap to keep "Big-O" from popping open as it made its way through the baggage handling systems, and I highly recommend that you do the same if you purchase this bag given the fact that my zipper split while I was at my hotel. )

    But if all you need is a strong, durable, suitcase that's easy to maneuver through busy airports and train stations at a very affordable price, then this one should suit your needs very nicely. And yes, it does come in several more "traditional" colors, just in case you're not into bright orange.

    I cannot say in words how amazing this suitcase is. It is extremely sturdy, elegant, light weight and most importantly Expandable. I have 6 of these suitcases in my house and I love them all. I first bought this suitcase 7-8 years ago, and bought one last week, I see a significant improvement in build quality. No complaints on the old one, but the new one is more sturdy and light weight. Great job on that Amazon.
    One little complaint is that the outer surface is very rough. My skin peeled off when I accidentally rubbed my hand across the outer shell. But I wouldn't blame it on the suitcase, I should've been more careful.

    I like that it glides nice and smooth. I had no issues taking it from S.F. to Miami and then on a cruise and back. The rollers worked great. I like the color and had plenty of room. The verdict is still out if it's sturdy enough, because I have only used them on this one trip. They held up fine and look fine when I got home. Would they withstand heavy tossing around with someone who travels a lot? Maybe not. I can't say for sure they wouldn't, but based on my opinion after feeling the material I'd say they are for the average traveler who goes on a trip 1-3 times a year. If you are someone who travels a lot for work, etc., I am sure you'd invest at 3x the amount these cost-- which would make total sense.

    However, I wanted a decent set of luggage, that didn't look too cheap and these worked great for that. If something changes I will update my review. It's a pretty good value for the price and if you're looking in this price range then I can say confidently they worth it.

    飛行機は気にしないのですが、ホテルでは鍵をかけておきたいのでつけています。

    ローラーは二連になっているほうが好きです。とてもよく転がります。
    ファスナーで二段階に大きさを変えられます。
    お土産の分を稼げるのはとてもいいですね。

    できれば預け荷物サイズギリギリがよかったのですが、
    61cmにすると少し余裕があります。でも満足しています。

    On a recent vacation in beautiful Japan, I injured my leg. This made travel days very difficult, as I had to carry a backpack, a small CPAP case, and a small bag on the trains. I realized then that it would be very difficult with my injury to carry everything for three flights to Saint Louis, Missouri, US. So I created an Amazon Japan account and ordered this suitcase to be delivered to my hotel, as I was in no condition to go to shop for luggage. Note that Amazon Japan did not accept a prepaid debit card; I had to provide a credit or debit card linked to my account. The suitcase arrived in time and completely met my needs. I did not need the extra expansion space, but I could see it really added to the usefulness of this suitcase. My existing TSA lock fit through the holes on the zipper tabs. I was able to use it for carry-on for Japan Airlines and American Airlines. The wheels work well and the suitcase balances perfectly and does not tip over. In the photo you can see it also makes a good support for an injured leg while on a layover in Dallas, Texas. Highly recommended!
