At the end of the Titan Wars, Zeus and the other Guardians of Delphi (GOD) stood victorious on the ruins of two worlds with millions of lives lost. To ensure that history doesn’t repeat itself, Zeus instructs Hephaestus to create a weapon. Four components of this weapon are hidden in secure locations and only meant to be found when the tide of authoritarianism rises once more.
Over twelve thousand years later, General Salazar initiates a coup on the homeworld of Sonora and kills the royal descendants of Zeus. The last of the bloodline is taken off-world to the planet outpost of Earth. Hidden in the small Oregon town of Sandy, Allora is the last hope against an invasion of the human planet.
With the assistance of her Sonoran friends and a goofy warrior warlock named Sasquatch (Sas for short), Allora searches for one of the four components of the GOD weapon to use against Titan assassins who are hunting for the last of the old royal lineage.
Allora must solve complex riddles, fight mythical creatures, and navigate a magical cavern maze while traversing advanced calculus, conniving ex-girlfriends, and finding a date to prom.

Allora happens to be the last remaining descendant of Zeus and the only hope that can prevent Earth from a Titan invasion. Helped by her ebullient warlock guardian, Sasquatch, and her three closest pals, Allora is on an important mission to discover the solutions to a complex riddle that will reveal the location of a powerful artifact that was utilized in the course of the Titan Wars.
The characters in this story are clearly admirable, and their relentless actions give the book a tempo that never abates. I like the quirkiness of the plots, and I think everyone who likes fast-paced mystery will surely enjoy this.
I want to say that I am waiting now for other books to get to know them, because Sonora and the Eye of the Titans has left a good impression. I recommend everyone to read this fantastic story and to have pleasant feelings after reading.
The plot is really promising, this I should say. Allora, Katie, Tanner and Dax are lovable enough, although there are some scenes involving them that I do approve. I think the scenes where they lie to their guardians just to party with their human friends were a bit mishandled. I believe this series is intended mostly for teenage audiences, and the lying part with little to no negative consequence might influence them and give them the impression that lying is, well, totally fine.
There’s some weird grammar in some parts of the book, but with excellent copyediting I think this will be a magnificent sci-fi fantasy series.
Although it was not like that, the novel "Sonora and the eyes of the Titans" is interesting, especially for the adolescent audience. I like it because it explores natural adolescent impulses without any kind of moral in between and in these times that is quite refreshing, however, the development of the plot lacks sufficient strength to be a great novel.
