To expensive for what it is, a 100% chineseum light with the offshore stench. The power cord does not indicate temperature rating, nor does it state AWG used. It's only rated to 300 volts. Since the sticker on the back states it can be used with100- 220v this would be a concern. The pamphlet that comes with it contains no warning information and considering that it is supposed to be waterproof it should have some kind of warning. It also states that all of the lights they make use 280mA, which can't possibly be true. 50 watts should be 417mA at 120v.

As you can see by the picture the construction is less than desirable. Hot glue is all that holds the power boards in place. They should be positively affixed. As is it won't take long for them to be flapping in the breeze causing the leads break.

This light operates on two led arrays. A switch controls if one or both are energized. The switch itself could have more of a snap action. The light output seems good. I don't have a way to measure the output. If it lasts it might still be worth the price.

My biggest complaint is that this is a straight offshore product with no safety certifications. Even H. Frieght products have certifications. Because of the unknown risk it should be priced much lower. I will keep this one and use it cautiously, but I will not but another.
