    Update: I no longer use it for my iPad, as I now have a larger one that won't fit, but it still looks like new on my ReMarkable!

The material feels plastic-y, not quite the "Apple standard" I would have expected, especially for something they call leather. It's not like my leather iPhone case.     This is a nearly perfect design. It provides drop and scratch protection. And you can leave your iPad cover or iPad keyboard attached when you put it in this case --- yes, it's designed to accommodate the cover or keyboard! (but not both). The pencil holder is secure. The only drawback is that the pencil holder makes it a bit difficult to charge the iPad when it's in this sleeve because the cord bends a bit much --- I just slide the iPad out a bit when I charge it in the sleeve.

    You have to play the $$ to get the quality, but this case is it. Its painful but its the real deal and worth it for the protection and convenience. After having it for a while, it starts to form to your iPad set-up... I put mine in with the apple smart cover, it was stiff at first and now it fits like a glove. Also nice to always gave the pencil at the ready!
