Liked the interaction between the lead characters. The depiction of the preacher's daughter is pretty predictable.

Still a little jumpy with the timeline and action. It's like parts have been cut out to reduce the number of pages. After having read the Diana Gabaldon series, lengthy books don't bother me.

Better than the Justice series but not as good as the last three of the original Dogs series. Character development still needs some work. The action and suspense could have also used a little more build up. It seemed thrown in to bridge gaps that were still missing parts.

Then she comes running into to the bar needing help her father has been shotso the bikers run to help but it just gets they into trouble. But when they get to the church they find the receptionist and her daughter died and the preacher close to death. Willow had been hit by a bullet and the MC’s leader and their Doctor fixes her up. But then she will have to face the death of her dad and the other members of the church. Dash is one of the bikers but he helped her before by changing her tired when she had a flat. But now she only feels safe with Dash so he is going to help her out and keep her safe and try to find out who did this. So enjoy a good read and see all the trouble that has happened to her !!

I am volunteering to write this review after receiving an early ARC from the author. I may have an ARC now but I have pre-ordered the ebook. And as soon as possible I will be owning a signed copy to cherish forever. This is book one in the Dogs of Fire Spin-off series. The Dogs of Fire Series has some extremely amazing characters and the storylines within the books. These characteristics have carried over into the Savanna Chapter.

In fact, I found this book even more thrilling. The story building had me emotionally climbing higher and higher up the emotional roller coaster so I could come screaming down to the real world. The suspense was addictive. I wanted the romance created with the pages for Dash and Willow. And the sex--super hot. How could it not be with a biker and a virgin, that had lived by the guidelines from within the bible.

The bridge between the two MC chapters, the two book series, comes in the form of Hatch and Maisie visiting the chapter. Hatch is delivering something. I wonder what needs to be delivered personally? What I thought was really cool was the link that the author created between Hatch and Willow, the preacher's daughter. It created a superb connection that Willow will need in the coming pages.

This is a wonderful story of opposites attract. Their connection doesn't just create sparks, but fireworks brightening the sky. Dash is a superb alpha male that can and will protect Willow from the dangers of life. With the help of his brothers, Dash rides in on his mechanical horse, saves the girl and steals my heart.

After writing this review I have a deep desire to read the book again. I couldn't wait. The story was calling to me so I read it again 10 days later. And Oh My, I loved it even more.

As MC romances go, this is pretty tame - not too much violence, and the parties weren’t as wild as some. That said it does have quite a distressing scene in the first few chapters, so beware. Willow Miller is cherished, she is sheltered, and she is adorable, until her life as she knows it is taken away in the worst possible way. During all the heartache and tragedy she endures though, she remains strong and true t9 herself, and somehow, she manages to find solace in a group of ‘low life’ bikers. Everything she was brought up to believe is proved wrong in the best possible way, how wrong she was to believe what others told her. Finn ‘Dash’ Lloyd is the best person she has ever met (besides her father), and he’s with her every step of the way, and she soon,earns that the Dogs of Fire Motorcycle Club is the best place for her to be. Romance, passion, intrigue, and a whole lot of everything in between. Fantastic characters and a great story. I loved it.

I loved Willows Southern accent from the first page. Her attraction to DASH and their love story was such a heart capture with how Dash took his time with her sexually. Even tho he qas a biker he was a gentleman. All of his "brothers" were. I loved how they immediately took to Willow even though she was very nieve, proper, and a"goodie-girl". I couldnt stand Brad & wasnt surprised when they revealed what a duche bag he was. I loved how her best friends were accepted by the brothers & how they accepted Willow being with a Biker. It just drew me in and held me captive thru the entire book. I loved their dynamics & how they talked to each other. I cant hardly wait to see her proper friend Parker & Jasmines stories. Will they find a biker themselves or will they find love outside the brothers. I dont know but if every biker looked like some of these men on the cover, Im becoming a biker bitch because they are hot as hell!! I want myvown biker man just like Dash!!!

Wow! What an ankle grabber. The book just doesn’t pull you in but sucks you into the storyline. This is the first time reading any of Piper Davenports books. I just started this book this morning and can’t put it down. Willow and Dash are strong Characters and continue to suprise me. I do not like Willows fiancé as he is an ass. As it would not suprise me if it’s because of him that it’s the reason that Willows dad is murdered. It is a fast paced book and a filled with a lot of emotions and tugging of heartstrings. I have read many Bikers stories and this is by far the best written and well played out storylines I have ever read. I have purchased several more books to continue reading.

Having read the original Dogs of Fire series which I loved, I was looking forward to reading the first in the Savannah series and I wasn't disappointed. I love how the tough Alpha MC guys turn into sweet and very sexy guys with their women. My heart went out to Willow and Dash wormed his way in. I was a bit surprised at the way their first sexual encounter happened. It was a bit out of the blue considering Willow's background but it paved the way for a lot more hotness so I'm not complaining! I can't wait for the next in the series.
