If you've tried the iPad apps or some of the native apps you may be wondering how people get to the point of really loving mixing on an app.. its about the right app.
Mixing station apps (Xair, X/M32, etc...) take the functionality to the next level. The PRO version is worth the 6 bucks or whatever you pay, in my opinion, as they put all of the features right st your fingertips. The Free versions might be OK for a start or if you are doing just a simple monitor mix on them, but I'd recommend the PRO versions if you do any serious mixing
Custom layouts, easy 'mix on faders' access, complete routing, labeling, etc... just a tap away.
I use mixing station whenever possible. Makes the Apple apps look like a toy.
