While you can’t hear the sounds on my instrument. It is an exemplary one. I had trouble receiving it. This is actually the second one. Shipping company was playing keep away with the first one and it had to be reshipped. I’m so glad I didn’t give up and throw my hands in the air defeated. This thing is worth its weight in gold.I love everything about it. Tuning was easy and the extras provided were absolutely necessary and appreciated .. I was not nearly ready for trying to locate the items to help prepare me for practice and lessons. I don’t know how a 3m dollar one sounds but this sure sounds nice when it is properly tuned . I’m very happy with the purchase. The headphones are exceeding my needs but right on time. I can olay at 2 am when I’m not sleeping and not disturb my neighborhood until I’m able to play it the way it is intended.If you really want a real joy and love the sound of violin. This is a gem. A+ add it to your collection. It’s worth it

    I just received this today and set it up. It was easy to tune and play. A notice a lot of the negative reviews seem to come from people who have never tuned a violin before. If you have ever put strings on and tuned a violin, this one will be straightforward. If you haven't watch some videos on YouTube about how to put on strings, bridges and tune a violin.

    For the 100 dollars you really get a complete package of cheap stuff. I bought this to take to a fiddle jam session and play more quietly than with my real violin as I am still learning the skill. I can also just leave this out in my living room to pick up and play more readily. My dog thanks me for getting this more quiet version of my chosen instrument. So do my ears.

    Couple of points. While everything does work, I would say the bow is pretty awful. It can work but my cheap carbon fiber bow works waaaay better. Get you a nicer bow. Same with the strings. They work but spend the dollars for a better set. The rosin works just fine if you use some sandpaper to scrape it up first and the headsets are way better than in the pictures I see on here. They also play loudly enough. The tuner works great and so does the shoulder rest. The case will also work just fine for most of us.

    The violin comes set up with pretty high action so if this is going to be your only instrument you will probably wanna upgrade the bridge too and get the action set a bit lower. I may end up doing this some day but the action is playable as it is so maybe not.

    Overall I am very impressed (and stoked) with this purchase given how cheap it was. It far exceeded my expectations.

    I’m going to give this violin 4 stars, and this is me being gracious.
    Lets start with the negatives:
    The bridge is way too high and the pegs for the strings do not fit properly. I had to take the violin into a shop to get those repaired. After repair, the violin was beautiful!
    The resin is garbage! Get better resin. The bow is… okay… I’m ordering a carbon bow.
    The instructions didn’t show you how to place the arm rest. I needed YouTube in order to figure out how to place it.
    The tuner is also garbage.
    It says that is allows for silent practice, but I think it’s just as loud as an acoustic violin.

    Now the positives:
    It’s gorgeous! The violin is lightweight and the body is so cool-looking. I didn’t have any issues with the strings after the pegs were fitted properly professionally.
    It sounds great! Even with headphones!

    Overall, I think it’s a great starter violin. But I wish that the manufacturers weren’t so lazy with constructing it. I think they should take into consideration some of these reviews. People will pay more for good quality.
    So my advice? Prepare to have a professional fix it so it’s playable. I paid $50 to get it fixed. Buy better resin and a bow.

    I had high hopes but the outputs don’t work so it’s useless. I can’t hear it try to cut in when wearing headphones and powering it on and there is a faint static when cranking the volume but there is absolutely no sound coming through. I saw another review using AA batteries Jimmy-rigged with a fork (rather than the 9v) but that isn’t a viable solution. I guess it’s going back, which is horribly sad as I was hoping for an affordable option to jam with friends. Very disappointed

    Ho trovato questo violino un ottimo incentivo per avvicinarsi allo strumento. Certamente non è come suonare un violino acustico, ma per esercitarsi è un buon compromesso.
    All'interno della custodia (rigida, molto bella e ben rifinita) sono presenti molti accessori, quali l'accordatore compreso di pila, la pila per il violino, le cuffie...insomma, solo che per gli accessori ne vale la spesa!
    All'interno è presente un libretto di istruzioni in diverse lingue che ti guida passo passo al montaggio del ponticello e all'accordatura dello strumento.
    Un'altra cosa positiva è che lo strumento suona anche senza amplificazione ad un volume accettabile.
    Vediamo se anche sul lungo il violino manterrà queste buone qualità.

    Ich habe die elektrische Geige vom Christkind (vertreten von meiner Frau) bekommen und mich gleich in sie so verliebt, wie mir das der Geigenbauer beschrieb, bei dem wir vor 45 Jahren meine "Erwachsenen"-Geige kauften.
    Nach dem Aufspannen der Saiten und dem Aufrichten des Stegs konnten meine Kinder und ich jeder ein bisschen spielen und sich an den anderen Klang und das andere Gefühl beim Spielen gewöhnen.
    Die Geige fühlt sich leichter und besonders beim Abstand vom Kinn zur Schulter kleiner an. Sie ist somit handlich und erleichtert das Üben.
    Mit den unteren beiden Saiten ist es nur schwer möglich, ohne Verstärker einen tragenden Ton zu erzielen. Der besondere Klang einer G-Saite, die in einer oberen Lage gespielt wird, fehlt.
    Die A- und besonders die E-Saite haben dagegen auch ohne Verstärker bzw. Kopfhörer einen recht intensiven, nachhallenden Klang.
    Stücke wie z.B. das Beethoven-Violinkonzert mit ihren vielen oft sehr hohen Passagen kommen dadurch gut zur Geltung.
    Ganz so leise ist das Üben also auch ohne Verstärker nicht, wenn auch deutlich leiser als bei einer normalen Geige. Im Gegensatz zur normalen Geige, bei der ich mir oft Watte in die Ohren stecke, um mein Gehör zu schonen, ist das bei der elektrischen Geige nicht nötig.
    Der Bogen überraschte mich, als ich nicht damit gerechnet hatte, bei diesem Preis ein so brauchbares Modell vorzufinden. Teilweise hat er Kontaktschwierigkeiten besonders auf den unteren Saiten, weshalb man am Kolophonium nicht sparen darf.
    Sowohl bei der Geige als auch beim Bogen sieht man natürlich an vielen Details, dass es da Abstriche im Vergleich zu einer "richtigen Geigenbauer-Geige" gibt. So ist z.B. bei unserem Modell ein kleiner Versatz zwischen dem Griffbrett und dem Hals vorhanden, den es bei einer richtigen Geige niemals gäbe, die verschiedenen edlen Hölzer für die einzelnen Bestandteile sind auch nicht vorhanden, und Perlmutt ist natürlich im Bogen auch nicht verarbeitet worden.
    Aber das ist gleichzeitig ein großer Vorteil in Verbindung mit der viel geringeren Lautstärke: Man kann die Geige auch getrost auf eine Reise mitnehmen, muss nicht ständig den Verlust oder die Beschädigung des teuren Instrumentes fürchten und kann in jedem Falle zu Uhrzeiten und an Orten üben, wo das mit einer normalen Geige nicht möglich wäre.
    Die Ausstattung mit einem schönen Kasten, (bescheidenem) Kolophonium, Reinigungstuch, Stimmgerät einschl. Batterie, kleinem Kopfhörer, Kabel und Saiten vervollständigen die Lieferung.
