Delivered on 9/20. Stopped working around 10/8. The machine runs but no longer collects anything in the water area-and yes-there is humidity in the room it is located in. Not happy. Already threw away box so I don’t think I can return.
Worked great the first couple weeks, now not working at all.
*******UPDATE*******
06/01/18-Wow. The company read their review I posted and sent me a brand new dehumidifier. Had to update to match this. Will stick with this company for future purchases. If a company cares this much about their reviews and customer feedback, then they’ve won a customer for life in me.
For some strange reason, my house was designed with no fans in the bathrooms. So, whenever you took a shower, you had to be really careful to open both the door and window afterwards to let the moisture escape. When I moved in, it looked apparent that whoever lived here before, probably forgot to do this more than once; you could see that certain parts of the walls and ceiling had been opened up, most likely to fix the damage. Also, my shower had what looked like black mold coming out of it.
Anyways, getting past describing my gross sounding bathroom situation. I decided to get a dehumidifier to fix this problem. I put this little guy in the bathroom and let it go to work. The amount of moisture it pulled at first didn't quite seem like it was as much as I would expect. It definitely seemed better than without it being in there at all, but I noticed that the small one in the closer was pulling noticeably more. My bathroom was definitely more moist on a regular basis in comparison to the closet. I guess you could say, that I was less so happy with this mid-sized model than I was with the smaller one, but I figured that maybe I received a defect, so I contacted the company.
I explained what I had noticed in an email to the company and asked what they could do for me. I was promptly answered, and a new unit was shipped out to me right away. I didn't have to pay to ship the old one back, so it was not a hassle what so ever.
Moving on, my new unit works perfectly. My bathrooms are completely dry even if i use it on the low setting. I sometimes switch over to the high setting to speed up the process. Both settings are extremely quite and the dehumidifier does not give off an excessive amount of heat. I have used much larger dehumidifiers in the past, and have noticed that they draw ALOT more power and will inadvertently act as a heater in smaller spaces (whether you want them to or not). Personally, I did not want my dehumidifier to act as a heater what so ever... I have central air, and that would just confuse the system's sensors.
Oh yea, one last thing I will mention. I was well out of the return window when I contacted the company about my unit's functionality. I'm pretty sure the original one I received was defective right off the bat, but it still worked to some degree, so I didn't rush to get it replaced. Eventually, I decided to monitor the difference in amounts of water the mid-sized one pulled in comparison to the small one in the closet, and that is when I finally contacted the company. So this was an actual warranty replacement, they didn't just send me a new one because amazon requires sellers to honor return windows.
Thanks Pure Enrichment for making great products and being a pleasure to do business with.

After just over two months, it wouldn't turn on. I emailed Pure Enrichment on Sunday, January 19. Monday the 20th was a holiday. By 9:45am on Tuesday the 21st, I had a response requesting my information and a video of the issue. I responded the same day and today (Friday the 24th) I received a replacement. I could not be more pleased with this company, and would strongly recommend them.
If you have reasonable expectations and want a small dehumidifier for a room or closet then then will work perfect for you, if you want to use it on a larger area or someplace with high humidity already, then you should look for something else.

I’m very pleased. My tiny basement suite was unbearably humid. I didn’t have a humidity meter, but papers left out were damp like theyd been misted. I ran this little unit on high for an afternoon and it solved the problem. If it starts to get noticeably humid again, I run it on low for a couple hours and it’s fine again. On low, the noise level is equivalent to my bathroom fan. My cat doesn’t like it but it’s fine to sleep with. On high, it’s a little louder and I wouldn’t run it at night. But it’s fine on high during the day. I was prepared to buy another one for the bathroom but it hasn’t been necessary. It’s small enough to move from room to room and efficient enough that it only needs a couple hours in each to manage the problem

It does a good job if you have high humidity (the room mine was in was 12 x 15 feet, and 70 to 80 % RH and the unit kept me just above 50 % RH) This is by far the best performing small dehumidifier I've used. Noise level is less than other models, but not silent. The size is great, small, but the reservoir is large enough to last a week or more.
Pure Enrichment has a phenomenal warranty on this, 2 years if you register on their site. I registered after 4 months, same day my defective unit quit, not only did they honor it, but it was a breeze! Shipping a replacement through Amazon for me, and I did not have to return the defective unit. Shipping was also expedited, and I didn't have to ask, it was all standard procedure for them. You can't ask for more than that!
Anyone worried about it not lasting, you can rest assured they stand behind their product!

Unfortunately after 24 hrs, there was less than a teaspoon of water in the dehumidifier, whereas the full size dehumidifier pulled out over a litre of water!
The starting temperature in the closet was 61.5 degrees F, humidity level was 58%, after 24 hours there was no change, the humidity level actually went up
I inquired if there a problem using this unit in these conditions or is it likely the unit is defective ? No response. So save your money and buy a better, larger unit.

it's a really nice looking machine. smooth electronics. Easy to dump, but I think I need a tougher machine.
