Don't buy used. Only buy new.
The device is great! But with this purchase I learned never buy "used" on Amazon. I thought I'd save roughly $100 by buying this used. The listing said it just had some signs of wear - scuffs and whatnot. But when I received the device it didn't come with the proprietary cord. I was upset about it and quickly gave this transaction a 1 star rating. But I thought I had a quick fix -- I'll use my own cord! It takes a USB-C to USB-A cord. So once I pulled out the cord I luckily had I was able to charge the thing. Another strange thing was that the device was locked (I presume from the previous owner) and I wasn't able to unlock it until I got a hold of Front Row's amazing 24/7 customer service. So now I was able to charge my camera and finally unlock it. I took it on my trip to Japan. It operates great. Once my camera filled up after just two days of use I got the cord out to plug it into my laptop to download the videos and pics. No dice. The laptop wasn't recognizing the Front Row was being plugged into it. So I last minute had to set up google drive to download what I had onto there. Problem is the Front Row has to be plugged in charging in order for this to happen. Which isn't something I had time for that morning. So I didn't get much use from it that day. And each night I had to stress out and hope enough videos would drop onto google drive so I'd have enough space for the next day. All because I didn't have the proprietary cord in the first place I wasn't able to just download everything onto the laptop and go. Instead I was stuck downloading via wifi which was MUCH slower. I only found out today (a few weeks later) via Front Row customer service that the proprietary cord is what was needed which lets me fuming because Amazon really stiffed me be not warning me that my camera would be missing such a necessary part. I thought a third party cord would do fine. All my third party cord was good for was charging. But I needed the Front Row cord in order to directly drop videos without depending on slow wifi while I traveled. So much unnecessary stress due to this. Never buy used. Buy new. If you see a "Warehouse Deals, Inspected" sticker on it - it means nothing. Be wary. Some "warehouse" worker is probably walking around with my cord.

The front row camera is a outstanding product, the video and picture quality is fantastic, very easy to use with fantastic software, it is extremely easy to pair the camera to your phone/ tablet. The time lapse is very cool and works great. This camera in my opinion is better than some high end pro sport action cams, the firmware is constantly being updated and the improvements from the updates are very nice. New apps are also added to the camera every so often.
All in all this camera is a great buy. And will give you a lot of fun. I have used it many times on family days out and adventure weekends, it’s simply great to take on holiday. it’s a camera that you can just pick up and take with you, well done FrontRow for a fantastic product 10 out of 10 all the way. My FrontRow is now my go to pro adventure camera.

One Youtube reviewer was too harsh in his comments (can't remember who) but most reviews praised this little camera and I totally agree. The most common complaint is the price. But I got mine for a stupendously good price here on Amazon, it must have been a return but nothing was amiss with it. The camera is small, light, very wearable, intuitive in it's use, has good sound recording, is steadycam enough to not make you seasick. I really do like it. It's got other pluses too if you like to stream or whatever posting your daily life is called. It's also a clock and a stopwatch. It's got an adjustable lanyard that means you can photograph very close to your head and get good audio of your comments, it's just a great little camera. It has plenty of resolution for the average user's needs and it DOES charge quickly. I was amazed at how quickly it was ready to use. Also a bonus nobody thought about, the USB connector fits into both my phone and tablet charger cable plugs so you can charge it from an outlet if that's available. If you can get a decent price, it's well worth buying I think. I can't wait to take it somewhere on vacation with me. Happy owner.

11/24/2018 Finally took it on vacation with me, a cruise and for once I wasn't sweating my "camera" falling out if it's case and splashing into the ocean. it was easy as pie to wear, two different ladies asked me about it, were very interested in this product. it seemed to strike a chord in them. The photos were stupid easy to get, it converts lickety split into a still camera with the press of a little button. I am very well pleased with it. The sound is good, the photos were nice, it's comfy for this 65 year old travel bum to wear and use. I sing the praises of this clever little camera. Thank you Front Row.

Very premium product, camera works great for photos in the go, video capture works great for stand still videos and story mode works great for trips. The device is very nice itself you can basically do everything on the device, view pictures, videos, stories, editing and other apps including translate, Spotify, social media... Don't really even need a phone. Downloading to your phone quick and easy with Bluetooth and direct WiFi for larger files. I wish it came with some type of strap and a case, kinda a bummer that I purchased this for 400 and it dropped to 350 next day...but premium product overall worth the price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great device
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on May 31, 2020
Great device, and potentially very useful for those who would benefit from it. One of my favourite things about it is the ability to ‘capture my day’. It can be set to take a photo every few seconds or so, and once complete it automatically converts it into a video that you can watch to see how you spent your day, in as little as 12 mins viewing time. The video also displays the time of day, so you could potentially use this as a time tracker to reference. It also makes it extremely easy to quickly capture photos or videos. Saves you having to pull out your phone. Useful for people who need to do this a lot.
