It’s cheap, it fits well, and it works. I waited until I got the X so I could put on the Tempered Glass screen protector and the case at the same time. I wanted a case that didn’t have a rear porthole for the Apple logo, because those cases just let dirt and dust in and cause stains and rubbing marks along the porthole. I also wanted one that didn’t expose the rear camera. Super low profile cases will cause the camera to extend past the super thin case and cause it to get scratched when it drops. This case prevents that because it is just thick enough to recess the camera slightly once the case is on, so when it drops it has less chance of scratching the camera. The edges of the front case are compatible with screen protectors like tempered glass so don’t worry about whether it will work with one or not. This is also wireless charger compatible, but that probably not an issue for most cases as long as they don’t have metal or magnets. Seeing as this case has neither then there is no reason why it wouldn’t work.
I also know this case protects the phone well because I already dropped this once. I tried to place it on our countertop and I accidentally hit the edge and knocked it out of my hand. I heard a dull thud and looked at the phone. You could tell by the sound it made when it hit the floor that the case absorbed the shock. I won’t worry next time I drop my phone and chances are you won’t either.
Also, there is no excuse for not getting a tempered glass screen protector. If you have ever seen a cracked screen on a phone, and knowing the cost of the X, you would be foolish not to have one. They are compatible with the screen and don’t change how responsive it is to touch controls, it doesn’t change the clarity or viewing quality of the screen, and it will prevent scratches from coins, keys, drops, and prevent cracking the screen. So buy this case and the tempered glass protector of your choice and get the best in protection with minimal cost.

Great minimal case with max protection, but longevity depends on outer band

I had my first case in the bronze finish, which is photographed, last me 2+ years, since the launch of the iPhone X. Absolutely fantastic price and value, which I believe was $10 at launch. The replacement I ordered in gunmetal has now snapped on the outer band as well. I’m a bit disappointed with the longevity of this one, but maybe I’ve been rough with it, knowing how durable the last one was. That being said, the phone inside is still flawless and I can’t complain too much! I guess I’m ordering a third.
