Got this to use with my Motorola 9 pin serial that requires a RIB box to rear and write to the radio (Motorola XTS5000)
Installation is super easy. Plugged it into my Windows 11 laptop and the drivers was automatically installed and assign a com port.
The cable is well made with some good strain relief on the end of the connectors. Length wise it's longer than what I needed but that's not a cons. Haven't tested this in the older windows machine so I can't tell if it works or not but so far it works great on my Windows 11 laptop and Windows 10 desktop. So anything older than that, you might have a compatibility issues.
Like I had mentioned before. It works with the Motorola programming cable without the need for a RIB box. No issues on connectivity even after I disconnect the cable and plug it in again into another USB port.
