An exceedingly long leash was ordered to ensure I kept tabs on a new rescue dog I adopted when I went to a small sit down outdoor garden luncheon I was to attend. It was to have given him protection from getting lost in the woods,enabled me to be assured of his safekeeping andalso given him lots of space to interact with the other dogs in attendance. It is solidly made, functional and inexpensive as it will not be used very often. Exactly what I needed.

Best Beagle Leash Ever!!!

Beagles on a short leash are SO 2017. We bought our 30 lb beagle this leash right before going on vacation and had a blast watching him run around like a mad man across the arctic tundra. We live in the city and it is pretty rare to have this much space and seclusion to run around so walking him with this was a real treat for our whole family.

It's nice to see him have so much freedom and be able to let him do his beagle thing without us holding him back, but still be law abiding citizens following leash laws. This leash is pretty much standard with a loop at one end and a metal clip at the other. The clip was able to endure a 35 lb 30 mph dog yanking for two days straight with no signs of wear. I found the best way to manage the excess leash at the end of the walk was to use the same technique lifeguards use to collect rope for throw devices prior to hanging them. Google that if you find yourself struggling with winding 200' of leash.

Another thing, one of the residents keeps the water circulating around their dock during the winter which leaves this really dangerous ice condition around their property. Our danger beagle naturally ran straight towards that as soon as we were on the ice and thankfully this leash kept him from falling in the freezing cold water. Beagle popsicles? Not if this leash has anything to do with it. Thanks for the cool product and keeping our beagle safe :)

Hi Kiss Long 30ft Leash To The Rescue!

After a recent temporary move from a home with a fenced backyard and now to an apartment our 1-year-old dog would not go #2 while on the 6-foot leash... since he would always just go out back. After some recommendations to try a longer leash we opted to try the Hi Kiss 30ft leash.

While I wish the leash and clasp was a little wider and thicker it seems like it has good strength for our dog is about 40 lbs and it also has a nice soft cushion insert where the loop for your hand goes!. Nevertheless, after the first attempt working with the longer leash and about 10 minutes, we had successfully completed #2 mission! Now we will work to make the leash shorter each time to get him more comfortable.

While this seems fine for just walking and training I don't think it is heavy enough if he were to charge full speed -- it may not hold up. Also, keep in mind that like other leashes with this material it would be pretty easy for the dog to chew through if left unattended.

This is a great, bargain-priced, super long training lead. The snap clasp is definitely more flimsy than I expected when ordering. I have a 75-80lb. Labrador, who is pretty strong, and I'm not 100% confident in the strength of the clasp. I think it would be just fine for dogs under 50lbs. though. This leash is extremely long and great for recall training and letting it drag along the ground behind your pup. Be prepared for a lot of untangling/winding when putting this thing away of course. The material isn't the softest, but it works, and like I said, it's bargain-priced, so you more or less get what you pay for. Bottom line, it's a great training tool to have on hand.

Great Leash for Dogs Who Aren't Good Off Leash!

We have a Goldendoodle who was great off leash until he ran off. We decided to overlook it and give him another chance. Nope. He ran off again. So we tried everything, exercising him on a retractable leash (NOT fun), going for more walks (boring), electric collars (remote annoying to hold with a leash and I didn't trust him even after months of training), so we found this. We have a fenced in field down the road but there are a couple spots (entrances) that aren't fenced. We bought this (200 ft) and it was amazing!!! Didn't tangle too bad. I love how I can have my dog off leash and yet still have him on!

Reasons for the 4 stars:
Clip is good but the size and strength makes me a little nervous.
DON'T GET CAUGHT IN IT. MY DOG TOOK OFF AFTER THE BALL AFTER I WAS TANGLE AND GOT SOME ROPE BURN.

Other than that though, it's a great buy, especially for just 31.99 and free shipping.
